Messed up threads made this shelf completely unusable.
I bought two sets of these. The first one went together without the slightest problem. I was very pleased. The second set however seems as if none of the pipes are properly threaded. You get about halfway through threading them in, and they just stop threading. No amount of adjusting or tweaking will get them in an further. An EXTREMELY frustrating experience. Now I'm going to have to send this set back and wait days and days for them to be replaced. I hope the threads on the new ones are better.

Great Look but...
First off these look Great, but they aren't perfect...I put 2 of these in my home office and they add a great industrial look. They are easy to install (just make sure you find the studs to drill these into)....I spaced mine out 32" apart (16" stud spacing in my wall) so I made sure to grab a stud with every screw. Following the directions are easy and simple enough...cool thing is you can design these in 4 different ways to fit your needs...with 10' ceilings in my house I went with the longest option (option 1). You just simply twist the pieces into each connector, however, with both units I purchased, I had issues with some of the pieces twisting all the way into the connectors. Not sure if the grooves weren't made right or the connectors are just hit/miss...but I had the same issue with both of these...here is what I had to do...before installing these onto the wall, I took all 4 of the pieces and lined them up on the floor to make sure they were the same length...if they werent because the grooves wouldnt screw into the connector all the way, i had to unscrew certain sections to make them line up as easily as possible...but made sure they weren't loose at the same time...it was a little bit of a headache to get them to line up but after getting them as close as possible installing them on the wall was easy...I then went to home depot and had them cut me 8 2x10s into 36" sections (2 inch overhang on each shelf)...Remember this is a DIY kit and DOES NOT come with the wood shelves...I stained them a dark walnut and boom, I had my shelves...they look awesome installed and will add great character to any space as long as you dont mind getting creative with making them lineup...

Terrible product
So, I was so excited for these and designed my whole office around them. They arrived and I didn't open them right away because I still had to paint the walls first. Fast forward and I'm ready to install. UM---they are soooo poorly made. NONE of the threads are good and you couldn't screw any of the pieces together. If I did get some in, they were all wonky because they didn't match up. Total failure and now I'm pretty sure I'm out the $$ because I waited so long to open them. VERY UPSET with this crappy product.

Shoe rack + vanity.
I made my shoe rack out of this plus vanity. I think i added some elbows and another 12" pipe to make ot perfect height for the vanity. So happy for this, perfect for my industrial theme!!

Beautiful pipe shelfing! We installed 2 sets of these in 2 days!
This would be my second order of these shelves. They are easy to install. We used a square beam shining on the wall. The new look in my house is so industrial steam punk. LOVE these shelves!

good quality but there are no holes to screw in the shelves even though the display pictures show them. really disappointed in that fact.
