The media could not be loaded. Couldn't be happier with the decision to switch to binchotan. It ignites so clean with minimal smoke, and then goes completely smokeless on deck. Obviously food makes it smoke but not the coals. The coals burn hot a crazy long time. I like that they're so dense that you take them out of the chimney one by one with tongs, they won't crumble at all, rather than just tipping them and hoping for the best. So you can really take your time to place them how you like. Really fantastic product, definitely approved and live up to the hype. Won't be going back to lumpwood again after this.

Great charcoal lasts for hours but tricky to get going

A must have for the low and slow kamado cook. Use with a good lump wood and you are away for 12 hours easy.... just buy it

Now this is the cream of bbq fuel well pleased 😁 good burn time great heat I combined with a quality lump wood fuel to reduce the amount I used, I also used the natural waxy wood fire lighter no chemical tainting from lighter fuel great 🍖 bbq set up

Terrible product, it arrived and some of the charcoal was smashed into small pieces. The seller didn’t help. I would avoid buying this.

This is the best coal available. Once lit, it will burn for five hours. So it is perfect for burning in a fire pit, to keep warm during long outdoor evenings. It works perfectly well in a Japanese Yakiniku clay ceramic barbecue to cook directly on the table, on demand, for several hours. It can of course be used in a regular barbecue as well.It is a little bit more difficult to get started than regular coal, but works fine with just a few regular briquettes underneath in a barbecue coal chimney to get going. It is smokeless and reduces to a fine white powder.It is more expensive than regular briquettes, but considering the fact that it burns for about ten times longer, it is actually a much better and cheaper solution, and is far less polluting.
