Woohoo!! Finally got me a BIG BOY recliner chair!!! :)
Wow! Where has this thing been most my life! I never knew they made "Big & Tall" recliners!First off, I'm 6'1" and somewhere around 405lbs. So many of the reviews made it seem like this thing might be too big even for me but it feels like it was a custom made recliner, just for me!!! :)My feet/legs don't hang way over the edge of the footrest anymore! My head & shoulders don't tower inches above the top of the backrest anymore! This IS A FIRM chair but it has to be firm and sturdy to hold up to the abuse from us fluffy guys (and gals too!). It's still comfortable and the backrest is the most comfortable part. It provides me perfect support and is the softest part of the chair.I'm in love! We're a match made in heaven! I want to marry this chair! (don't judge, it's 2022 and love is love, right?) :)Btw, this is the 4501-19 Rocking recliner! It rocks (if you want it to) when upright with the footrest down. It fully reclines and needs to be a little further away from the wall than the wall saver model which is 4501-190. Amazon sells that too in another listing. I got the chocolate one.I wanted a lighter color but my mother reminded me a dark color recliner won't show dirt as much. Good ol' mother's. Gotta love em. They're so smart. Listen to your mother's people!!This chair was a breeze to carry into the house and assemble solo! It came in 2 pieces and I'm not sure if it's 160-180lbs like the listings say. I swear the top was about 40lbs and the bottom maybe 60-80lbs but I don't have a freight scale haha. There is no additional hardware or tools needed for assembly!Oh, did I mention that I'm disabled and on a fixed income so I probably wouldn't have normally shelled out 700+ for a recliner but Amazon offered 12 monthly payments on this recliner of around 60 a month at 0% interest?? Say what!? Sign me up!Oh, I almost forgot. The Amazon freight delivery was the best! Fast and friendly delivery right to the porch since the box was actually 1" too wide for the front door.

its not your average recliner but nice and study
well I'm 5'10" and about 230lbs..(due to a operation ty ) I felt I needed a chair to support me ... my other recliner (lazyboy) was like sinking in and had a hard time getting up...bad for knees.. so decided to go with two of these chairs.. its a chance taking something you haven't tried out in person before buying..I was a little skeptical and crossing my fingers... they arrived a week sooner then expected... the shipping got screwed up some how concerning bringing them into room of choice which cost extra..one man driver and he said it was a drop off... so 2 big boxes that were on pallets... hummm. but the driver helped me out anyway and hauled off the cardboard and pallets..ty. anyway I put the chairs together... the back has to slide on two male brackets which was fairly easy and then you lock them in place... finally got to sit down and check these babies out...wow stiff was my first impression but after sitting and trying them out for a couple of days... they are nice.. easy to get up and out.. won't sink down in these but they sink enough to be comfortable..I have no problem reaching the lever for footrest... the footrest has to be out for the chair to recline... not all the way but out.. the color was "cafe" its a brown with lighter browns as accents...makes sense?? they are nice looking...they also have the rocking motion... but I would say if your over weight or just a big person I would recommend buying these...they seem(time will tell) like they going to last a long time...built well...and if your wondering, between the seat and arms its is a good 26" apart plenty of room... they do recline all the way and gives you a lot of room to stretch out...about the only CON I would have is that the footrest should of been all one material closed and not open... but that's my opinion... my doxie really likes hers... had to make up a footstool for her to get up there... had to throw that in...but happy so far with these chairs..easy on the back also..and if you short you won't be able to touch the floor with your feet...I barely touch at 5' 10".. well hopes this helps...

When I bought a chair for 1000$ I expect it to last longer than one year...
When I bought a chair for 1000$ I expect it to last longer than one year...My recliner started breaking within a month of purchase. The company was adequate in sending people to fix it, BUT it's still breaking to this day and now the company says it's out of warranty.I'm not using this recliner in any way that is inappropriate and I'm more than 200lbs BELOW the weight limit. I wish I could report problems directly to the manufacturer, but someone double printed over the inspector marks so I can't even complain about how my recliner was missing bolts on the undercarriage when it arrived. It all started with a bolt falling out from underneath in the first month after purchase. It did not have any nut connected to it, it just fell out. I found where it was supposed to be, but there wasn't even a hole for it to go thru... It was just wedged between the metal and wood. Then the left arm was wobbling as there weren't enough screws and such to hold it steady. (they sent someone to fix that). Then the chair doesn't sit firmly on all 4 feet (only the right front and left rear touch at one time). They've done nothing for this complaint. Then a bolt broke (which they did send someone to fix). And now another bolt just broke from underneath but the company says they don't have to fix it because it's over a year old (this is the pic included in my review).I don't know about you, but WHEN I PURCHASE A RECLINER FOR 1000 DOLLARS I EXPECT IT TO LAST MUCH LONGER THAN ONE YEAR.Whoever did the inspection on my chair should really pay closer attention.I gave one star for comfort, support and assembly because (with it broken and wobbly I cannot use it properly, hence 1 star). When it's working properly it is comfortable and adequate, I'm just incredibly upset with them sending me an obvious lemon and not staying the course to repair it as much as it takes until THEIR product is working for longer than one year!
