YogaRat Mugzy's Mutt Towel: Awesome 100% Microfiber pet Towel attracts but Won't Trap Fur - Multiple Sizes

I looked long and hard for absorbent bath towels for my GSD. I finally bit the bullet and ordered 2 of these in December 2016. I wanted to have them for awhile before reviewing. These are absolutely the best towels ever. When I got them, I was skeptical, as they are thin and seem like they won't really do much. Boy was I wrong. When I bathe my girl, I usually drench 3 regular towels and she still isn't really dry and sprays water when she shakes. I use the first one of these to dry her off 80% of the way. Then I use the second one just for finishing and it gets barely wet. They are NEVER drenched and dripping. Anyone who owns GSD's knows about their undercoat and how challenging it can be to get them dry. Now, I use 1 1/2 towels to get her VERY dry instead of 3 towels and barely dry These things dry out so quickly also. We do underwater treadmill therapy and I take one with me to finish after the vet dries her with two of her towels. This gets her pretty darn dry, which is important, as she is prone to topical yeast infections if left to sit wet for long. Also, I simply lay the towel on my passenger seat on my drive home (about 40 minutes) and it is dry when I get home. These things are just amazing. I cannot say enough good things about them. I just ordered 3 more today, as I find myself using my GSD's towel to dry off my swimsuit when I get out of the pool. I'll admit I was a little hesitant at first because of cost, but they are worth every penny. I don't know how you could not love these. I did read someone's comment saying that they just caused the water to sheet off the dog and the floor ended up soaking and someone else said you have to kind of bunch up the fur in them to dry. I find neither of those things. I use them exactly as I would any other towel. I even showed them to my vet and told her that, although they are more expensive, they would pay for themselves in the long run because you use fewer and thus have few loads to wash. I very rarely give 5 stars and rave about product, but this one I could not let go by without singing its praises.

I needed some towels that could absorb a lot of water and dry our old dogs long haired coat pretty well since she does not like going into the drying cage at the groomers. Our dog is a large Aussie mix with long hair, she is 15 years old and has trouble standing in the same spot for a long period of time because of arthritis. The last time we had her at the groomer for a bath she could barely walk after an hour of bathing and drying with the air blower so we had to come up with a solution for the problem. I looked at Amazon and found this towel, after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try and ordered 2 towels which we took with us to the groomer. She had our dog out in 30 minutes and that included the nail trimming. She was only damp when she came out from having her bath and our groomer was raving about the towels and said that they were awesome and she is going to get some for her grooming salon. The towels did not hang on to all her long black hair either, they washed easy and dried in no time in the dryer. Also, the towels were wet but not soaking wet or dripping water after the groomer was done drying our dog. These are great towels and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good dog towel.

I have 2 wonderful fur babies, Sophie a Maltese and Poodle mix and Dash, a Jack Russell Terrier. Sophie's hair is silky and fine, while Dash's hair is coarser and thick. Both generally take a long time to towel dry and the towel is fairly wet and limp (so am I) by the time I'm finished. I have nerve damage in my left elbow and wrist so it's very difficult for me to bathe and dry them. I tried my Mugzy towel the other night. Sophie was first. The towel made drying her less time consuming both by towel and blow dryer. The towel was hardly damp. Next up was Dash. I was anxious to see how it would work on him and if I would have any less wear and tear on me. The towel worked beautifully on both, which is good because Dash isn't crazy about the blow dryer. The only reason I gave the towel 3 stars is because contrary to advertised it did trap his hair. Not a lot, but some. Regardless, I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone.... Especially professional groomers.

Okay, this thing is amazing. You guys were right. It arrived today so I decided to give Annie Oakley a bath. She was stinky anyway. I was dying to test it out. Shea a has a lot of fur for such a little gal. Annie Oakley is an adorably bizarre mutty mix of a Japanese Spitz and a Jack Russell Terrier. So she is small (only 14 lbs) but has a really super thick coat of fur all over. I am used to needing to use multiple towels, and having them get drenched while she's still relatively wet. And then I have to take a hair dryer to her, but she HAAAAATES that, and it TOTALLY FLIPS HER OUT. So I hate having to do it. Today I tried the towel, and she was mostly dry with just this ONE towel. Even my husband was amazed. Didn't even need the hair dryer. She ran around the apartment a few laps quite happily, (happy to be out of the bath... happy to have dodged the dryer...), and when I caught up with her to pick her up, there wasn't enough wetness left to worry about. So I let her air dry the rest of the way, which happened in no time! And in the end, the YogaRat Mugzy's Mutt towel was SOAKED to the bone, but Annie Oakley was dry!I'm going to buy another one. Or two. Who knows. I'm in freaking LOVE. <3

WOW! These Mutt Towels exceed all expectations‼️ My 150# Alaskan Malamute can accumulate LOTS of mud/sand/dirt/rain on hikes both on the beach and in the forest. Not a problem any more - these towels have incredible ability to absorb both water AND mud/grit. They dry very quickly and, as advertised, do NOT rub off or trap fur...which is amazing considering this breed. I love the huge size of these towels and so appreciate how lightweight they are. Couldn't be more pleased and have ordered twice 🐾🐾🤗
