Being of Italian origin, I use to buy Barilla all the time in Australia. Its fantastic that I am able to buy this brand here. Great quality pasta, doesn't fall apart and go soggy and soft like Indian pasta. Definite good choice to buy.

1. before it was available in india, we used to get this from US. and now having tried out what is available in usa and here, i can say that there is no difference in quality. the only difference i could find is the price. its expensive here.2. its taste and texture is good. while boiling it in water add a pinch of salt and a small spoon of oil. it makes all the difference in the world.3. the actual time required to cook it is way more than whats written on the box.4. there are really no other comments. taste is good. quality is good. its not unhealthy.overall a good product. i would recommend it to people who are into Italian food

TWO THINGS I'D LIKE TO SHARE IN THIS REVIEW.1. I ordered this product thinking that it's 100% vegetarian. Also, the green mark symbolizes dairy and plant based food. Does not include eggs. But when I got the package it had written "maybe present egg and soy". I mean they should mention it on their advertisement also. Shouldn't they? This is hiding information from consumers.2. I contacted amazon customer care. While the person was nice and refunded me my amount back. He told me that I should be responsible while buying the product. I'd like to mention no where in their advertisement have they mentioned about eggs. Either the product has it or does not, who sells the product writing maybe?? And while there is no info about this on web, how can the amazon executive say that oh I'm making an exception for you but this was all on you. When there is nothing mentioned in the description of product and even the pictures are different from the packaging that I got.Wierd as hell.I would like people to know that even the manufacturer or amazon is not sure if the pasta is 100% veg. Buy it on your risk is what they are trying to say.

The pasta is great, but the packaging isn't that good. Let's just say it's just in a hard paper box. You can peep into the box through the edges and see the pasta (no plastic pouch or anything). The safety becomes highly dependent on how it was stored and shipped.. from the place of manufacture until it reaches us.

He probado todas las marcas de pasta seca que he visto en tiendas desde muy joven, y esta es la mejor con diferencia, sobre todo penne rigate y los spaghetti. Antes hacían una pasta seca Gnocchi que estaba increíble, pero ya no la traen a España, una pena.
