Wandering Through A Wasteland
Girls Last Tour is unlike a lot of other post apocalypse stories. In a world where hardly any life remains and man made structures are breaking down. Two girls Yuuri and Chirp simply wander finding food and trying to understand the fragments of the past they encounter. It's both an odd mixture of melancholy and hopeful all at the same time. All the it somehow maintains a relaxed atmosphere. The artwork of the series is simple and but charming. It's landscape are a big highlight as each page brings a new view unlike the previous ones. If your curious as a sidenote the first volume covers the first 3 episodes of the anime adaptation. If you are looking for something unique and off the beaten path of more traditional stories. Then look no further than Girl's Last Tour, it's a journey worth travelling. -MickManga

The greatest story I have ever experienced - Life changing
I just wanted to say that Girls' Last Tour, manga + anime, is the most wonderful and beautiful story that I have ever experienced. It will make you look at your life completely differently and it makes you envision the world in a new way. I would say anyone who has been depressed or suicidal should read this story and realize how much more life has to offer. Girls' Last Tour challenges some tough subject manner, everything from environmentalism to politics and warfare and artifical intelligence vs humanity and the meaning of life. All though the main focus is on the 2 girls exploring the world, it has many subtle story points that are nailed so incredibly well and are very relatable. I have watched around 150 anime and have read around 40 mange in my life and Girl's Last Tour is right at the top, I would say in my top 3 series. I sometimes wish it was longer but it moves along so well. I also wouldn't say its a series for everyone who wants a straightforward show or expects lots of action - no this series is not for you. Its much deeper than that and tells its story through powerful imagery and more advanced ideas on life.Overall it is a 10/10 for me and I had to buy the manga to support the incredible creator of this series.
