I have since sold the car but I added this onto my '07 Megane with no difficulty whatsoever. I did have to drill a small hole in the side of the centre console for the wire to go through, but obviously, that's not a fault with this product - just part and parcel of a retrofit.The release tools are handy but not mandatory - if you're careful you can achieve the same results with wooden kebab skewers, although the tension required to be able to pull the head unit from the centre console can cause said kebab skewers to snap (potentially blocking the release hole) so the removal prongs are nice to have.

My 2008 Scenic had the aux-in option so this lead easily snaps in and allows an Iphone to play through it.

The green plug is for a mk2 reno

Using the extraction pins made removing the radio easy, I fitted to a Renault Modus and there was not a lot of room to pull the radio out, when fitted I fed the cable through the same hole as the other cables as otherwise there is not enough room to refit the radio, when fitted you need to go through the radio options to switch on the "Aux" option on. I used it with an Ipod to play my music.
