Amazing HD Digital Antenna
I had originally purchased a GE HD Digital Power Antenna at Home Depot. After I got tired of the signals fading in and out and finally reading reviews that GE Antennas are practically Chinese Garbage, I started looking for another one.The ClearStream 2 didn't have a single negative review, so I figured I'd buy an 'open box' version of this item. Boy, what a difference ! Even without the signal booster, I got 12 ADDITIONAL CHANNELS (than my GE, Chinese garbage antenna) and TWO Analog Channels. The Signal strength is 98% per the diagnostics on my Sony Grand Wega TV (GE only managed to get up to 48%). BTW, I have this in a 1st floor apt, in the bottom pane of a window, taped to the glass, LOL. Imagine what I'd get if I had it on the third floor or mounted on a post outside? Please consider this antenna, the best one I've found so far.

Works Well (But Not Great)
Tripled the number of channels we get off the air with this over a powered flat antenna. Very picky though - can't mount it in one place because I have to move it for specific channels - and, everyone who drives past the house while talking on their cellphone disrupts the signal (we live on a busy street.) Late at night, even more channels come in - some as far as Jacksonville, about an hour's drive. Worth the money, but not as good as I wish it was.

Cut the cable and save money!
Bought this antenna to pull in local stations, which it does flawlessly. I live about 40-45 miles from St. Louis, and I get all of the local stations. Pair this with a streaming service (Netflix, Amazon or Hulu) and you can save $90 or more every month by cancelling cable / satellite. The antenna is super easy to set up and use. I literally just pointed it "that way" towards downtown. Do not forget to scan for new channels after install. Could not be easier.

Not as good as Winegard SS-2000 Squareshooter
I have trouble picking up the NBC station with my Winegard SS-2000 Squareshooter. Usually on a clear day it'll come in fine but on rainy days the signal will be dropping out hear and there. It is very annoying so I picked up this Clearstream 2. It's rated at 50 miles and my Winegard SS-2000 Squareshooter is rated at 40 miles so I'm thinking the Clearstream will give me a better signal. It did not. The signal peaked out close to the Winegard but it was much more consistent with the Winegard SS-2000 Squareshooter than it was with the Clearstream. It's rated for longer distance so it should work better but it doesn't. This is why the Clearstream gets one star from me.I only have UHF channels where I live so I don't know if VHF worked better or not. I live in a townhouse and have the antenna mounted on a 3 foot pole in back of my townhouse. I have trees behind me so getting a clear shot to the tv station is pretty much impossible. If I had a clear shot, maybe the Clearstream would work better. As it is, I'll stick with the Squareshooter.

Awesome Antenna But Too Far From City
It would be adequate if I were nearer to the city where actual frequencies originate. But I'm 30 miles north of San Diego city, and at least 60 miles south of Los Angeles city. So the range isn't that great sometimes I get a few stations sometimes just a couple. But It would be good in an emergency just to watch a news channel.

Works good. Antenna web has my cottage about 40+miles from major stations and pointed at just the right direction will pick up all of them without any amplifier.. Had it up for about 2 years and no issues. Put it up as high as you can. I used a 8' pvc pipe connected to my roof line attached to an old satellite stand (total approx 20' off the ground). Works well to hide the Coaxial cable up thru the pipe to the unit.

Great reception easy to install.
Great product. I went to https://www.tablotv.com/tools/ and with this antenna I was able to catch all the channels we suposed to get plus few others that were not on the list. Some of the channels lose reception when is overcast but these are usually channel that are far away from my area or repeaters channels. Is very important that you study where you should point your antenna. In my case I had to point it north; if I would point it to any other point I wouldn't get anything.

Much Better than I Expected
I just installed mine. It pulls in a stronger signal w/o an amplifier-- compared to the small (desk top) amplified one it replaced. Both antennas were tested in the same location so the Clearstream is definitely a better design. After adding an amplifier I even pull in 2 more stations than my neighbor. He has his (standard antenna with amplifier) mounted outside--higher than mine. Mine is mounted indoors as high as I could get it (in attic). Thus: better antenna+more height+amplifier=more stations. Goodbye cable!
