Hello there. How close is the actual colour of the cap to the above photo?

I would say not quite as deep a pink as the picture. It's a bit lighter, still a nice colour.

Exactly how long is the seam down the side of the cap, from top centre to edge, measured flat (no slack)? Mine is too long (deep) at 7" (178 cm).

I would imagine at 178cm it would be huge :) mine is 6 and a quarter inches which is 15.5 cm. It fits me perfectly and I have a large head (and tedious problems) when it comes to hats.
