I purchased this remote to replace the one that came with my Optoma UHZ66 projector. I hated that tiny little thing. It is way too small, has no back light, and it's very awkward to use. THIS remote, on the other hand, has the perfect size... not too small, not too big, and it worked perfectly out of the box without any programming (even though the UHZ66 is not mentioned, I can confirm the remote works with this model). This remote is white. matching the color of the projector. It has a bright back light, which makes it easy to use in the dark. Please note that you will have to provide the two AAA batteries it requires. The quality of the printing on the buttons is nice, but since I just started using it I don't know of the printing's longevity. Time will tell. Over all I'm very happy with this remote, and it has greatly improved my user experience with the projector.

My kids wore out our original remote to our Optoma projector. We bought this one to replace it. The remote works great and we don't struggle to turn on projector anymore!

This remote works perfectly with my Optoma projector. I'd left the batteries in the old one and it was damaged, so I bought this replacement. In the meantime I was able to fix the old one. Now I have two.

I don’t do anything fancy - turn the projector on and off. It looks identical to the original, and does the job. I did spend some time trying to find the model number on my projector. It is attached to the ceiling, and I wasn’t too eager to detach it in order to get to the “bottom.” The instruction manual didn’t help either, so I took a bit of a flyer, once I had confidence the picture in the instruction book looked just like the picture on Amazon.

However the blue light the remote emits is INSANELY bright, like someone turned the LEDs up to 11, it could be a flashlight in an emergency

did not work with projector

This remote was a little more expensive than others that claimed to work with the Optoma HD70 projector, but I decided to play it safe. Pay a little more, increase the chances of getting what I needed. I am happy I did. The remote functions perfectly with the projector, allowing me the access all the menu options that are NOT available using just the buttons on the projector. BTW the Optoma customer service rep told me over the phone that all menu options should be available directly from the projector buttons. Not so!

It did not work with my projector although claiming it would. I haven't investigated how to properly pair it, so my judgement might be too hasty
