Reasonable price
Works great but it's little bit slow and noisy. For the price, I think it's good.

parts were missing
after shipping overnight (to arrive on friday), It was missing key parts. when i contacted the manufacture they said i had to send the whole thing back. i had already thrown out the box not thinking that they wouldn't just send me the pieces that they left out of the box. they offered 30% of money back (it is useless without proper fitting mounting brackets).the manufacture is not worth the hassle. the motor is on the weaker side. not worth the risk. of the 5 other rooms in my house that need motorized rods, i'm going with another brand. BEME failed.

Make awful noises, cheap
Makes an awful sickly noise when opening or closing. Very cheap construction and motor. The curtain jerks sporadically because it is not designed to glide properly. The remote is very cheap and it didn't even come with batteries. The range and function of the remote isn't very good. It's not labeled for a side-opening curtain even though that's what I bought. You have to point it fairly directly at the sensor for it to work. Lastly the only motorized part is a bar holding the last 3 clips at the very end. The rest of the curtain is just dragged along, so the curtain is never spread out evenly when opened. Better off with just a plain manual curtain on rings that isn't so unpleasant to use.

Great value, good initial quality, some worthwhile notes
This is an amazing value and pretty well made below are some comments;GoodIts good quality material and design. Looks good, operates smoothly, pulls some pretty heavy drapes 143", does expand to 144" as stated, shipped and arrived fast and i am in Hawaii which ussualy is 5 to 7 days for Prime, remote works as expecte and the cost is so low. It has an auto stop function when reaching max open or closed. It expands by just pulling one side out (has some internal pully aystem that allows the cable to expand). The power cord is long enough to reach the floor (mine was 95" ceiling to floor) and over to an outlet a couple feet away no problem, the 4 support brackets seem to be enough to hold it up at 144" full expansion with curtains, the compressed curtain is compact since the motorized slider keeps it locked when fully retracted,BadIt is kinda loud and slow, but it gets the job done. When it expands it scratches the outer now visable part of the inside sleeve as it becomes exposed (or it scrathed when assembly took place) and is unsightly, no directions on expansion so it was nerve racking to just pull it apart, there does not seem to be enough rollers in the track to connect all th curtain pins at 144" (i came up four short and dont see how you can add anymore).OtherYou can set it up to open left or right but it is kinda set up to open to the right with the motor on the right. Attaching to the wall is the primary set up but you need 2" or more above the top of the track to be able to slide the suspension arms over the wall mounting plates, setting the reciever correctly will help in remote range, there is no manual operation so dont lose or break the remote, two suspension arms are free to place anywhere and two are required to be attached to fixed places at either end of the track, it seems like they want you to use vertical blind slates (the attachments for blinds or curtains is more blind friendly, you can cover the track with curtains if you have newer adjustible curtain pins, the track is not bendable at all, i will post updates.

Clever, flexible design with room for improvement
Three and one-half stars of five. The rod is relatively easy to install and has a reliable, if primitive, (line-of-sight) remote control. Moreover, the telescoping design depends on a clever internally-positioned cable system that (nearly) perfectly modulates speed and curtain distribution. The metal cable is affixed to pre-tensioned pulleys, thereby allowing for adjustments to the width of the rod during installation. The motor, despite its other (see below) shortcomings, is easily strong enough for the job, and moves heavy, layered curtains with authority, if not celerity. The more delicate/finger-unfriendly/lubricated bits are buried deep in the spine of the rod, the better to preserve mechanisms, flesh, and finery.Areas that might be addressed begin with sound. Under load, this is a rather loud device, and unnecessarily so as the noise arrises as a consequnce of the echo-promoting shell which houses the motor, and the lack of any barriers or baffles between the gearbox and the long, sound-conducting/amplifiing rod. The motor is also geared more for torque than speed; consequently movement is rather slow, if consistently so in both directions. And the whole system, as-is, is not home-automation compatible, nor is there any obvious way to use curtains with grommets. Finally, and this is just a side note, the the Erod packaging only reluctantly surrenders it contents - plan on having sturdy scissors at the ready.None of these issues, however, are disqualifingly bothersome and this system provides good value for the money. I would be confident recommending it once enough time has passed that I can with experience speak to its reliability.

Definitely worth it. Don't hesitate.
This thing is awesome! I don't care that it's a little loud and I don't expect it to be any faster. I just know it was super easy to install, even easier to clip my existing drapes on and most of all, I can now wake up and see how it looks outside without getting out of bed yet.It is definitely as advertised and I am very impressed with the quality. The fact that it is also low priced makes it a no brainer.

Don't purchase - poor quality.
Purchased this for a 12 foot window and attempted to hang sheer panels. The motor only pulls the first 3 clips so you end up with panels bunched to one side. The first 2 clips are on a bar that ends up being pulled down by the weight of the sheers (which is VERY little weight). It moves painfully slowly and just wasn't the quality I'd have expected from a rod that cost $170 dollars.

I didn't like how the track shows the hooks
I didn't like how the track shows the hooks. I had to have a wooden cover up built. Once the curtains were on the rod, there is light from the window that comes through the top of the curtain but under the rod - there is too much space with those handing hooks
