Fun old detective stories. I love watching them!
This Volume two is, to me, a lot better than the Volume one....better stories, and better acting. Although I prefer George Sanders for the part of the Falcon, his brother Conway is also an excellent actor. All the Falcon movies are good, and worth your time to watch. Full screen. These are very old movies, so don't expect picture quality like a new movie, but they come in clear and sound is excellent. All black and white.

Always fun to watch.
I must have watched all The Saint and all The Falcon movies 5 or 6 times. Classic 1940's detective movies. George Sanders and Tom Conway were in a class by themselves. These movies have many flaws, but the staging, sets, costumes and dialogue are so entertaining you don't care about the corny lines or dated dialogue. I love em.....

A great DVD
If you are a fan of the Falcon movies you will love these that are included with this set. Tom Conway takes over as the Falcon in volume one and continues as the Falcon in this set. As a part of trivia this actor is the reason that Tom Conway from Cleveland, Ohio had to change his name to Tim Conway when he left for Hollywood and took the part as Ensign Parker on McHale's Navy. There are 6 movies in this set. "The Falcon Out West", "The Falcon in Mexico", "The Falcon in Hollywood", "The Falcon in San Francisco", "The Falcon's Alibi" and "The Falcon's Adventure." I haven't seen these movies in years and now I enjoy watching them when I want!!

5-Star Movies, on 1-Star Discs
5-Star Movies, on 1-Star DiscsA pressed disc is always best. (They are bright silver on the back.) If a studio feels they MUST burn a disc, M-Disc should be utilized. A burnable M-Disc costs about a dollar more but it will last for CENTURIES. Sadly, these movies were burned on the old-fashioned, purple dye type disc that will only last 5-10 years. Great movies like these should economically justify pressing a disc. However, I would have gladly paid $2 more for M-Disc. ( You can burn M-Disc a home too. )The video and audio quality is excellent on the disc. This review is for the product I received from Amazon. If you are after a "Pure Movie Review", I recommend the "International Movie Database". There, you will find reviews unrelated to the delivery mechanism. In "The Falcon in San Francisco", it was nice to see San Francisco before it went down the drain.I highly recommend these great movies.
