Yes, just be mindful of brass ejection. Worked fine for me L, or R mount. Ended up with flip to L, but either will work

Will this work with a holosun green circle dot

Yes it will. I have a 2 MOA Dot Size Green Dot Reticle HOLOSUN Elite model HE403C-GR and they work well together
