Glad I didn’t get led by negative reviews
I understand these might not be for everyone. This is my personal experience.I bought these for when I do my dip powder manicure… (every three weeks or so…)It takes a little practice to get the hang of it, but once you do, putting them on is quick (approx 3 mins to complete both hands)Once you do your dip (just because you’re using protectors, you still have to do it carefully… not openly smearing the protectors).. DONT USE ACTIVATOR UNTIL YOU PEEL THEM OFF. Otherwise you’ll harden the dip over little bits of protector. It takes a few tries to learn to peel it off well. I still get teeny bits of protector left behind, but I take them off with super slim tweezers (the ones used for nail stickers).Once you peel them, THEN you can use activator, file, activator, and top coat. For me, these have helped me get a super great dip manicure at home.

Practice will make perfect!
On my own I’m terrible at painting my nails but I had just recently kicked the nail biting habit so I wanted to enjoy “pretty” nails. Thought these might help AND THEY DO! They do take some practice (photos are only my 2nd time using) but I think still worth it compared to what it wold look like completely without assistance of this item. I will continue to use them and buy them. Better than paying for a manicure as dips and gels just result in too much damage to my nails. If you can take the time and allow yourself a few failures or imperfections, I think it’s truly worth the purchase! They peel off with total ease as wellNOTE: only do one hand at a time as they are very sticky but that is what it’s supposed to do. Do one hand and allow to dry then do the other.

Waste of money
Normally I don’t leave bad reviews but honestly I’m so unhappy with this product, that I had to. I was so excited to do my nails for February, I had my polish and everything ready to go. Then I soaked off my other tips and got ready to add my new tips and polish. If you don’t already know, soaking off tips already takes a long time. So, by the time I was ready to put this nail guard product around my finger nails so that I could polish the new tips, I was already pretty exhausted. Upon painting them, I put my nails under my UV lamp to dry and when I knew they were completely dry, I proceeded to try and peel off this product. It was already difficult trying to get them all the way around my finger nails successfully so that they would be protected from the polish. Well, not only did it keep the polish on my nail but it also glued to the polish on my nail. I cannot get this product off. I tried using nail clippers, tweezers, dipping a cotton ball in acetone to try and lightly wipe it off and nothing is working! 🤦🏾♀️ I now have to re-soak my entire nails in acetone and start all over. This was a huge waste of money and I would only recommend maybe if you’re not using gel polish but for me, this was definitely not worth it.

Takes a little trial and error
A little tricky to apply. After a bit of practice, I discovered that best to pick them up and place with tweezers. Do not use your fingers. They do stay put when finally in place and are very effective. it was recommended to use only these when applying holo nail dust. The peelable paint on latex should be avoided with holo dust. Happy nail art..

This takes patience, but works good.
I like this product for the convenience of doing home manicures. It takes a bit of finessing to get them around the finger, but once you practice a couple of times it works pretty good. They are really sticky so they stay in place. I bought these because I didn't want to try the brush on type barrier. I will buy again. Good value for the price.

No for Gel nails
These would have been perfect is I didn't put them under a UV light for my gel nails to dry. But they were easy to apply. I got a lot for my money. Next time I use them I will be using regular nail polish.

Doesn't work well with gel nail polish.
Doesn't work well with gel nail polish. You want to make sure that you get all the gel nail polish off of them before curing your nails or it will stick to the polish and not come off. I had to remove my nail polish I just put on to get part of it off. Kind of defeated the purpose of putting nail polish on. They might work well with regular nail polish but not gel polish.

EASY ON EASY OFF
You have to be csreful not to put it tooooo close to the lining of you nails because they will stick too much and it will be hard to come off... other wise... easy on easy off
