Pfister 900-0500 GS109000 Ceramic Disc Cartridge, No Size, Chrome

I was happy to see the part arrive in a Pfister un opened box. To get the old stem out, you may need large jaw pliers to hold the threaded piece protruding from the sink ( tape the threads so you do not damage them). Once lose, reinstall is easy. I use a tiny amount of plumbers grease on the threads and bottom rubber gasket for easier re install later. I also tried a Danco part, but the quality is not as good so I will use real Pfister parts if available.

after months of leaks i finally replaced the faulty one the new one fit perfectly took less than 5mins to replace the old one. The quality is awesome too.

Fit as original. Good quality. Only complaint is it restricts the water flow a little more than the original and I don't see any restrictor washer I can remove.Installed it and initially it made that dreaded whistling sound. Took it apart, made sure everything was tightened properly and found the faucet still whistled. That's when I realized it wasn't the knobs, it was the nozzle I took apart to clean.

Seems to be working without any symptoms of water leakage.

I do a lot of plumbing. I've learned in "most" cases to only use OEM valves when rebuilding leaking faucets. Lets face it, some faucets cost a lot of $$$. If it is a simple valve replacement, you don't have to spend $100-$300 to buy a new faucet set. When I first started, I tried saving money using aftermarket valves. After a number of call backs due to a leaking faucet, I stopped using them. I lose money on call-backs. Now I only use OEM valves and have very rarely if ever had a call back. If your going to do it, do it right the first time! Hope this saves someone the trouble.

It is original part fits exactly works fine . Original part worked for 15 years.

It leaks. Im not happy with it. The first stem lasted twenty years. This one 2 weeks.

It fits great and the quality seems good.
