Will this allow a Makita battery to work with a Dewalt cordless tool?

I use this to run my 18 volt makita batteries in my 20 volt dewalt tools. Works great. I have had no problems. I like it because I have dozens of cordless makita tools and batteries and we only use one dewalt cordless tool typically.

Will it work on Dewalt 12volts tools, probably not ?

I am not sure . I bought to convert an 18v mikita battery to a 20v dewalt tool.

Hyper tough to Dewalt?

This one is for mikita to dewalt. Tjere are other o nes out there but you have to look for them. I was trying to find one that was dewalt to the new craftsman but no luck.

Works great on my dewalt products

Had way too many Makita batteries and needed some more Dewalt ones. This really helped me. I didn’t have to buy any more Dewalt batteries

Seems so be a solid design. Works good

It seems to be doing what it's intended to do. I use 18v makita 5.0ah battery on this conver and plug it right into my new dewalt 7 1/4 20v chop saw! The converter works great with the battery and fits in the opening. The saw cuts really smooth. No lag or power spikes that I can notice. I do take out the battery out of the converter like it says when I'm done using it at the end of the day. Not to cause a short. 4ah is used in the pictures... Don't know how long the converter will last but......

This thing does what it says

I switched to Makita Lithium tools a while back due to their unreal battery power and length of charge. I have some Dewalt 20v tools including a weed trimmer and I didn't want to get rid of them, and I didn't want to have a big mix of DeWalt and Makita batteries as I prefer the Makita.This thing makes all my DeWalt 20v tools work flawlessly with the Makita batteries.

It works very well

Awesome tool. I’m not a fan of companies finding new and creative ways to empty the poketsOff F contractors like me by introducing new tools on different battery platforms. Makita doesn’t do this. And I still have a few old dewalt tools that needed batteries so this converted them to . Well basically the same as my Makita line update

They work!

I very much like the fact I can use several different brand tools with just a couple battery platforms. I don’t believe any brand is the best across the entire spectrum of tools. They all have good and bad & the adaptors allows me to bring many tools together for me to use at a reasonable cost.
