The blue light comes on, but no soap comes out. I thought maybe it was too thick, so I tried watering it down, but it still won't work. Help?!

I have 3 of these for quite some time and I they work very well. I will say that I did change to a hand soap that wasn't as thick as one I started with. Adding water is no help. Also, each one distributes a different amount - not wrong, just different and thats fine.

Can be used for sanitizer ?

After talking to Umbra, they stated that it can only be used with sanitizer if the unit is used frequently. If the sanitizer has a higher alcohol content (they didn't say how much), the alcohol will gradually evaporate and the sanitizer left behind could potentially clog the dispenser. The alcohol helps to keep the sanitizer in a more liquid form.
