No leaks so far
I got these after I bought a cheap dispenser from Walmart which leaked, gave only a drop of shampoo at a time, and fell off the shower wall twice. This soap dispenser is nice looking, and easy to fill. It comes with sticky tape and silicone glue. The instructions say to use the whole tube of glue, and that the tape is only to hold it in place while the glue dries. Well, since I had problems with the Walmart one, I followed the instructions exactly, and used all the glue, and the tape. I also didn't put the dispenser on until two days after I attached it, just to make sure the glue was dry. I used painters blue tape to hold it in place too. My shower surround is cultured marble. Before putting the glue I used alcohol to clean the wall and the dispenser mount. I used the alcohol wipes that are used for medical purposes, and they work great. It cleans off any oily or soap residue and dries fast. I waited for the alcohol to dry completely before applying the glue. There is a diagram on how to apply the glue to the back of the mount. The instructions tell you not to fill it or use it for 24 hours after application. Also, the glue is quite stink when not dry. I used the smell as an indicator of whether the glue was dry or not. The smell has faded almost entirely.I have since filled it and used it for a week! I am quite pleased. It has not leaked at all, and the amount it dispenses is just enough for liquid face soap. For shampoo, I got the two dispensers with the basket, and those work equally great. No leaks and I use two pumps to get the right amount of shampoo (I have shoulder length hair). These work great so far and I am happy with them. The dispensers can be filled while attached or separately, as you can simply slide them up off the mount. The glue did not interfere with the mount at all.UPDATE - October 2008The dispenser is working as good as new, no problems with it at all. Given the hot conditions we live on the leeward side of Oahu, I am very pleased with this product! It is still firmly attached to the shower wall. I love it.

Great Dispenser
We bought this manual soap dispenser to fill with shampoo and install in our shower. We love it! It saves on space since we no longer have a shampoo bottle on our shower shelf and it looks good against the white tile walls. It's very easy to install, use and refill.

Provided silicone adhesive unuseable
For the price, this is a nice dispenser. We are using it in our shower for body wash and it seems to work well. The amount of soap dispensed with each button push is modest but two pushes gets me the amount i want. Better than producing too much. I have two quibbles: 1) The silicone glue that was provided had hardened in the tube. I could not get a drop out after piercing the seal. I ended up using another adhesive I had on hand. Hope it holds up. 2) The cap for the reservoir essentially just sits on top. There is a small catch on the front lip but nothing in the back. Perhaps not a problem but I can envision finding the cap on the shower floor after an unintentional bump.

perfect for small bathroom
I bought this for use in a small bathroom that has little very little counter space. It has been in use since early summer and so far it is great--stays in place, refills easily, and works great with easy dispensing and no drips. We are using a liquid soap purchased from a well know buyers' club. This dispenser looks good too. It is ideal for our needs.

Test the pumps first!
Product looks great on my RV bathroom wall, but does not pump out soap or shampoo. I guess I should have tested it before I installed it. Now I am past the return process and left with a defective product. Please test the pumps on the dispenser before your return window is over.

Great for shampoo
I was looking for a practical shampoo dispenser as I like to buy more economically sized shampoo. I was a bit leary about buying this product as I thought it might not hold up, that the dispenser would get gummed up or it would fall off the wall under the weight of the product. Well, I was wrong. I have had this on my shower wall for several months and it still dispenses perfectly and is solidly adhered to the wall. It is low profile and easy to refill. I am sure it would also work well for shower gel.

Long lasting
If you’ll notice 2 are of different shade, they got yellowish through the years (14y)…I recently bought 2 more and had to reposition one of the old ones…believe me it took a lot of force to yank it out….I prefer the individual units against the tandem ones so I can easily remove if I need to deep clean if they get clogged…earlier one of the units won’t dispense I almost returned….I added a little distilled water, turns out the conditioner was uber thick and after several priming, it worked fine! Of all the push dispensers out there I believe this is the best choice…durable, thick plastic, reliable mechanism, good adhesion, sturdy bracket and keeps shower neat!

Adhesive unusable
Product appears well made but can't install until I get some silicone adhesive. The tube that came with the dispenser was rock hard. Not really worth the price.
