Woolrich Flannel Cotton Sheet Set Tan Winter Frost King

I have been buying Woolrich flannel sheets for years. For the first time, I am disappointed.The sets I have had for years are STILL thick, colorful and don't pill up. Very warm and sturdy. Even have the signature Woolrich tag in each piece.This set, compared to the rest: AWFUL!! Not as thick, NOT soft. And, no Woolrich tag attached to any piece: except the paper name tag on the plastic bag they came in. Am guessing they sold out to another company.Do yourself a favor and for $10 LESS, buy a set of SnugglDuds. MUCH more substantial, combed and cozy as heck. They are even proud enough to put their labels on each piece. Trust me: you will thank me.

The first time I ordered these I bought them through a bad seller who sent me Microfiber plaid printed sheet instead of flannel. They refused to take back the sheets and send the right one, so I had to take it up with amazonMy second order shipped and arrived flawlessly and they are surprisingly thick and very pretty. These are definitely going to be my go to sheets for winter, soft and cozy.

When I opened the box (that Amazon had here in 2 days) I could tell these flannel sheets were just what I was looking for. The overall weight of the set and the feel of the dense cotton flannel was like I had bought years and years ago. These far exceeded my expectations and at a decent cost. I am going to purchase some different patterns in the near future as we have guests arriving near Christmas and these prints are adorable. I am totally satisfied with the look and feel of this weighted fabric. They fit the bed a little large. Am hoping that they will shrink a little. The description of taking the 18" thick mattress was for real. I'm glad I found these after days of research. I will further my update after a few weeks of using and washing, etc.

If you are expecting soft and cozy sheets, these are not for you. They are like a heavy cotton sheet. Only one side has the check pattern. They were not what I expected. However, I still like them as I do like heavy cotton sheet sets. Keep in mind that these are almost like starched sheets.

I ordered these because I need more than just a sheet to sleep comfortably at night. I wanted it to be a light summer quilt of sorts. The top sheet worked perfectly on top of my regular sheet as light summery quilt. Out of the box, these sheets are like a piece of cardboard. I washed them once so far and they loosened up a bit. If I was just using this as a sheet, I think I would have been disappointed because they are not soft at all. I will see in the winter, they may be ok then. For now, I am not using the bottom sheet. It would need several washings to be soft at all. Another plus though, the buffalo print is great! I would buy them again but not expect a soft sheet. :)

Afterone washing straight out of the packagd the sheets are thread baren in one whole line about 1 inch to 1 1/2 " wide the whole width of the sheets. I would returrn but I threw the oackaging away.....Very disappointing Woolrich!

I have used flannel sheets for over 50 years. These Woolrich sheets are my favorite. They are thick but soft. They wash well and have very little to no pilling. There are other excellent flannel sheets but they cost much more for what I believe to be the same quality. I always depend on Woolrich for flannel sheets.

Very scratchy and stiff. Tried washing in copious amounts of fabric softener to no avail. Wouldn’t recommend.

I am a person who is very skeptical. I have bought many sets of sheets and some very expensive and ended up disappointed. My girlfriend bought me these sheets and I was shocked how wonderful they are and quickly bought another set and wow!! I plan on buying a lot more. Even my granddaughter who is 2 said this is mine grandma (sheets) I can have the blanket so you know when a 2 year old says that it’s good:)

I was excited to find these and happy to pay a higher price for WOOLRICH plaid flannel. But I then expected quality woven plaid flannel, not a stamped-on paint design on cheesy fabric. I was very disappointed and did not even take them out of the packaging. I returned them for my money back.

These sheets look really nice; but they are stiff and rough. Worst of all there is so much dye in them that when I wash my hands after handling them the water turns purple. I've washed them about 8 times and still this is the case. They are really terrible. However they do look nice.

Woolrich has great product. Soft and fits big.
