Best baby purchase I’ve ever made.
This is my absolute favorite baby item and baby gift of all time. I purchased my first one back in 2013 and used these for all my kids during their first 3 months of life. It’s an exciting, but exhausting, special time having a newborn. The initial lack of sleep requires you to stay organized. I tracked daily feedings, diaper changes, notes like “gave gas medicine” or “diarrhea” or gave full bath/washed hair. The most critical use for this book is to track how many ounces of breast milk or formula baby ate and what time. Trust me - the round the clock feedings and “shift changes” when daddy, grandma, or babysitter step in to help are immensely easier when you write down vital info. It’s SO easy to forget when the last feeding was and how many ounces when you’re going round and round the clock. Beyond just a fantastic, quick & easy tracker, these books became emotional items for me because I used them as kind of (fast & easy) baby journals. I’d write fast notes in the Daily Comments section like “first night baby didn’t wake up!” or “got first tooth!” or “ate first jar of baby food today - peaches!” The first 90 days after bringing baby home are huge, magical, and fleeting. These books became my crutch, guide, organized me...but now they are the most important momentos to me. I never had the time to make elaborate scrapbooks or “Baby’s First Year” books, but these turned out to be easy ways to document special moments and to watch how baby grew (in the beginning it was 2 ounces of baby milk and diaper changes and it ends with 8 ounces of milk, jars of baby food and teeth!). I also made little notes on certain days like “Celebrated Baby’s 1st Thanksgiving at Uncle Bob’s house today. Cold and rainy, but had a great time, everyone wanted to hold baby, and baby met all the cousins.” I’m not having any more children (we are done now!) and my youngest just started preschool. I cry (happy, but sad it’s over, tears) reading all my baby tracker books and I’m thrilled that I purchased and really used these. They’re now safely stored away so my children can have them as adults as memory momentos. They will never once question how much they were completely loved and doted on when they read all the notes and see how much work showering them with 24/7 love and care was! I’m not big on writing giant reviews for products like this, but I wanted to share my experience with others. You won’t regret this purchase and it also makes for a fantastic and practical newborn baby gift!!!!! Thank you to the maker of this book. Even though there are computer & phone apps and other ways to logistically track newborn care, these are invaluable baby memory maker keepsakes. My children will someday read (in my handwriting) my special mommy notes next to the actual date/year and time, such as: “it’s snowing tonight, but we are up in the night on the couch cuddling and, as I feed you, I’ve never felt more warm and happy. Mommy loves you!”

Simple, easy to use, and so helpful
When my baby was born, I purchased a year’s access to an app so all the caregivers could input baby’s feedings and diaper changes—but I couldn’t get anyone else to use it! Instead, they were making charts on graph paper. (And honestly, I found the app interface confusing and annoying.) So I looked for an existing paper planner for baby tracking and found this one. We’ve been using it for 3 months now and it’s been great for keeping track of baby’s feedings and changes (especially helpful since Mommy Brain is real and I can’t recall these kinds of details anymore), tracking patterns (like how much baby is drinking in a day or when she last pooped), and what happened overnight or during the day when we switch “shifts.” My only (very small) complaint is that there’s a sun graphic in the comments column to make the “day” pages and a moon to mark “night” but they make it hard to read the notes in those few lines, especially since we’re writing with pencil. It would be better if that graphic was at the top of the page instead of in a place where you might need to write things. But other than that this tracker has worked great for us and I’ve already ordered a second one.

Love it
Love it to easily track for newborns. No need to have a lengthy discussion during baby handoffs bc it’s all documented. Also helpful when the doctor asks you about the number of wet diapers, etc and you are too tired to remember or split with other caregivers! I also love writing notes and milestones as a future keepsake for the baby.

A must-have for new moms!
I wish I had this with my first baby! Doctors are always asking how baby is eating/sleeping/pooping/tummy time. This tracker has it all. With my first I was so anxious, and this helps you keep track of it all so you have those answers and can watch your baby grow. I think it could also make an interesting keepsake. There is room for short notes for each day, so you can add a fun anecdote or note to tell the doctor. For baby 2 (a preemie), it has helped give me both confidence and comfort to easily track these things so I don't have to worry about when he last ate or if he's pooping enough. I can go back to the book and it's all right there. The only downside to this book is the am/pm layout. Each day starts at 6am and goes through 5pm on the front of the page, and then 6pm through 5am on the back of the page. It's a weird time to start and end the day, especially since you're going to be up a lot anyway. It would make most sense to me to have the day start at midnight and go through to midnight of the next day. But it's easy enough to get used to.In the end, I definitely recommend this tracker for ease of use and peace of mind!
