Q: I never received the screw that’s supposed to come with my snorkel. I’ve tried regular screw driver and it seems very difficult to tighten.

My snorkel did not come with any screws, so I really cannot give you a good answer on this one.

Q: What is the difference between 2nd generation and 3rd snorkels

I’m not sure, but I would think the 3rd would be made a little better. Comes down to preference I guess. Main thing ur breathing and Not sucking in too much water in. Hope that helps.

Q: I find that the water goes in and it doesn't get purged thru the valve. I have to stop and take the mouth piece off and take the water out! Solution?

I place my palm flat over the end of the tube and blow hard into the mouthpiece. A little awkward but it will work provided you're not caught at the end of an exhale, or have just inhaled a breath of water. If so, I think you have to stop and clear the tube. I think they should have made the tube a little longer, it doesn't clear the surface by much.
