Beautiful dark red
I've been looking for a red ink and I finally found one. Between the ox blood and red dragon, i oicked red dragon. Diamine ox blood was a bit too dark for my liking.Red dragon is the perfect shade of red of that I was looking for. I used it with my jinhao x750 and it looks beatiful. i didn't know I had smear some ink on my hand and i thought i had cut myself. I was able to wash it off but not all of it. Comes in a glass bottle that look like a bottle of blood. It is very beautiful and I highly recommended it.

One of my favorite inks - deep, vibrant crimson
I love, love, love this ink. It’s a deep, rich, vibrant crimson and it’s gorgeous. When, I bought this, I thought it would be used just as an accent color in my journals. Nope. I use it as one of my main go-to inks. The color is dark enough that it can fill the page yet it still pops if that makes sense.I loaded this in a TWSBI Eco (med nib) and the flow is a nice wet that dries fast. No skipping.I’ll buy this again.

My go-to deep red ink
This ink is phenomenal. It lays down a saturated red that dries a little darker. It is more saturated and vibrant than a J. Herbin Rouge Opera and darker than a J. Herbin 1670 Hematite. There's not much shading or sheen in the Diamine Red Dragon ink, and it tends to run a bit wet, which I like. This ink has been in my rotation for about 6 months and is now a permanent resident in my Pilot Prera with Fine nib. There are absolutely no flow issues even in the Japanese fine nib, which tends to run closer to an Extra Fine by European maker standards (like Lamy). No staining of the converter, feed, or nib. No feathering or bleed through even on cheap printer paper. Highly recommended ink for anyone looking for a well-behaved, deep red ink without any fancy shading or sheen effects.I have used this ink in the following pens without any problems:Pilot Prera F, Bulow X750 M, TWSBI Mini 1.5mm stub, Merz and Krell Pelikan 120 EF

The color comes off as dried blood color (brownish) on my Moleskine squared paper
Mind you, the Moleskine paper is a little off-white, almost might tan or tea-colored so I should have known. But I also checked it on bright white paper from Rhodia and Clairefontaine and it's pretty brown/dark read/dried blood as well. But I like it. I am happy with it. And it's nice to write with as opposed to use it as I had hoped, with was to highlight and edit and correct stuff.

Stays blood red when dry
I like that this ink goes on red and dries red. If I buy red ink I want it to look red not turn brown when it dries. This particular red is about as close to blood red I’ve ever seen

Popular, good quality ink
Ink is well behaved. Quality is great--no clogging, doesn't dry out. Color is a matter of taste. Personally, I was seeking a red red so Red Dragon is just too brown for my taste. Closer to Oxblood than the pictures would have you believe. Montblanc Corn Poppy Red is what I'm trying next.

The best red ink on the market
This red ink really stands out on the page. It is saturated without orange or brown tones and behaves well in my Burgundy Aureolide Aurora Optima.I love writing with it.
