Perfect replacement
Bought this as a replacement for Moen shower faucet handle that had to be cut out due to a stuck cartridge. Once the old handle was off, this one went on smoothly and will hopefully make replacing the cartridge in the future easier due to the updated design. Shipping was super fast which is very important when you're shower is out of service!

Moen shower trim kit
Updating my bathroom and bought this bronze shower kit to replace the old Moen fixture in the shower. Works great as Moen products do. I would recommend.

Looks good and works as advertised
The oil rubbed bronze look is very nice and, to suit our tastes, doesn't have the lighter highlights found on other ORB products.On the technical side, I didn't know about these temperature control mixing valve systems until we started planning our major bathroom renovation. The new plumbing code requires temperature limit control to avoid accidental burns from full-on hot water. The separately purchased rough-in valve is used in combination with this valve trim kit and the rough-in valve includes the cartridge and, if you want, stops. Stops allow the hot and/or cold water feeds to be turned off so that the cartridge can be replaced without shutting off the water further upstream or to the entire house.I had the rough-in valve installed by the plumber who did our rough-in work. Then, I installed the trim kit and set the temperature limit per the accompanying instructions. No problems and really like the combined system. Great temperature control without fear of too hot.

Careful with the install
The template leaves the handle about an inch out when it should be almost flush. The tripped up the plumber and we needed to redo the pipes going to the fixture. The valve is generic so make sure that before you put it in for good you test it. It is easier to have it to far recessed vs to shallow.

Doesn't take a pro to install
There was nothing wrong with the valve in my Moen shower so all I needed was the trim kit, as I have been changing everything to oil rubbed bronze. After watching an installation video, I knew I could do this, and I did. It's beautiful and matches every other fixture now.

Works perfectly
We needed the Oil-rubbed bronze - it was a perfect match - and the good Moen quality we've come to depend on. A little more expensive than we would have liked - but works perfectly
