I have to give it five stars because it did say that it does not work and I didn’t read it so if you have the same machine that I have, please don’t buy it

These DO NOT work properly with the Nespresso Vertuo.They do not brew the coffee you put in the capsule correctly and are extremely difficult to clean up. It gives you less coffee in your cup than a regular Nespresso pod would, and it tastes burnt. You would have to brew with this pod 2 or 3 times just to get enough coffee to enjoy a cup.Since they are stainless steel you have to wait for the pod to cool down before you retrieve it from the waste bin of your machine. This creates an issue when you want more than just an ounce of coffee because you have to go clean the pod, smack the coffee out of it, and wash the pod just to use it again.I returned this and just went back to my regular pods. This is not worth the money or the hassle.

I was a little skeptical about trying reusable pods with my Nespresso VertuoPlus, but these RECAFIMIL stainless steel refillable capsules really impressed me. The build quality is excellent—solid stainless steel that feels durable and well-made, not flimsy like some other options out there.It took a little trial and error to get the grind and tamp just right (medium-fine worked best for me), but once I found the sweet spot, the results were great: rich crema, smooth taste, and full-bodied flavor—almost indistinguishable from the original pods.Cleaning is easy, and I love that I can use my favorite coffee blends now without tossing a pod every time. It’s better for the planet and much more affordable in the long run.

Product quality is great, but does not work in my machines, barely get an ounce of coffee in my cup…..maybe only works in some Nespresso machines

I was wary of this pod after seeing all of the negative reviews, but after a few trial and error runs it seems to be a winner provided that it is used correctly. Here are some things I figured out that allowed this pod to work well for us.1. It brews an espresso sized coffee rather than a full sized coffee. To brew a full sized cup you have to add hot water to your cup first, then brew the espresso into it.2. You have to use a super fine espresso grind of coffee. We had hoped you could use any type of ground coffee, but that is not the case. We tried 2-3 brands and Illy is the only one that worked well. We tried with less fine grounds and that was when we had the weak, light brown water many reviews complained about. The Illy espresso grounds make a beautiful and great tasting espresso with a nice crema on top.3. The pod gets VERY hot, so you want to make sure to let it cool before removing it to clean it. Not the most user friendly for making multiple espressos at one time, but overall not a huge issue.

Ok I gave this multiple shots to work and it just doesn’t. Gets clogged messes with the machine doesn’t fill all the way and full of water for watered down coffee. Just pull this product off the shelf it’s trash. I don’t write many bad reviews unless it’s real bad. This is a waste of money. Also I was 1 week out of return window to try and see if they’d give some compensation which was only 30 days. You get busy you don’t get a chance to try things right away. Not so much the $20 it’s the point. Thought this would be solid (stainless steel and all) but no it no good. Could be the bar code seal under which is the problem. Maybe it’s not a good match and machine can’t read it good.

Despite reading some negative reviews, I decided to give this reusable Vertuo capsule a try with my Nespresso Plus machine by DeLonghi… and I’m so glad I did. It works perfectly. The espresso comes out delicious, with great crema, and the quality of the capsule is outstanding. It’s well-made, easy to use and clean. I highly recommend it — 100% worth it.

I love the idea of having a non toxic alternative that I can put my own mold free coffee in but this just doesn’t even get close to comparing to a pod from nespresso. I pack the pod super full and tight but every single time it comes out watery and minimal coffee flavor. I was really excited about this alternative but was really let down. I would say it’s not worth buying.
