add ons make it extremely expensive!

the whole problem started when i decided to buy a Pfister faucet,Pfister RT6-5SRK Serrano 2-Handle Roman Tub. Now the problems start. There was no valve, i should have paid more attention.So the price just doubled to about $180 as I had to buyPfister 0X6050R 3-Hole Fixed Roman Tub Rough-In Valve for an additional $90but wait, now I have to extend so i buyPfister 974-3750 Stem Extension Kit with Stem Extension, Sleeve Extension and Screw for $35Imagine my surprise that it wsa only 1/2 of the solution, I had to buy 2 of them!Pfister, never again! I feel scammed!

Only Fits one type Valve body

Amazon pairs this with either Pfister OX6-050R OR OX6-150R Valve kit for Roman Tub. I ordered based on this but does NOT FIT OX6-050R which has a single I" external O ring size outlet for spout, only fits 150R with 1/2" brass or copper plain outlet tube as the Serrano spout has two internal 1/2" O rings in spout.

There was no valve

I thought this came with the valve, I now how to go back and either return the whole thing or pay another $100 to get the other part I need to install the facet.
