Nice little amp!
So, took the plunge on the T20 after thinking about the slightly cheaper BT20A non valve model. Reason being the stock tubes are upgradable so thought I would have a choice in overall sound quality. I am no audio expert but appreciate “good sound” when I hear it! I purchased a set of MORDAUNT-SHORT M20, Compact Bookshelf Speakers at the same time and a set of 2 meter GearIT 14 AWG Speaker Cables with Banana Plugs to complete the system. All was easy to set up with amp set to Bluetooth and easily linked to my phone. Time for a first listen test - I used a variety of music from Classical, Vangelis, Pink Floyd etc. with some of my favourite tracks that I knew well. So, pretty impressed with the sound! Great separation, clarity and bass from the speakers. Nice clarity with a few subtle sounds I hadn’t noticed before! Good bass from the tracks where I knew it was.I believe it takes time for valve amps to settle in and “warm up” and for new speakers to “wear in” but I must say for my average size office/chill-out room I am very happy with the sound so far. I will give the stock valves a while to set a base sound as I have orderd a pair of 5654W tubes as these seem to be the preferred upgrade. So time will tell! The amp itself is tiny - looks good and takes up very little desktop space.Overall I am very pleased with the T20 amp. I look forward to the tube swap to see if it makes any noticeable difference but then, I will have a choice!Would recommend the T20, I know everyone has different expectations but so far I believe I have made the right choice.

Superb, Small Tube Amplifier - sounds great, looks great
After much research, I finally went ahead and replaced a 30 years old reference amplifier with this tiny, amazingly tiny, tube amplifier and I don't regret it at all.As per other reviews, I went ahead and also purchased a set of matched GE 5654W tubes, which are smaller in size but importantly add a deeper element of warmth to the sound, this is obviously subjective to the listener, but I could certainly hear a difference in the supplied tubes and the 5654W, which really validated the research and meant that I could use this and get rid of the old, large, reference amp I have been using for 30 years.I use this in a predominately software based music studio (using Reason Studios 12) and this amp sounds quite neutral, set the bass and treble in the middle and the amp is clear, uncluttered and does not appear to colour the sound. I use it to power a set of JBL Control 1 speakers and it does well up to the max volume, although I typically run them at about 25-30% volume most of the time.Have to say that it performs superbly, there are no speaker damaging thumps or undesired noises when you switch it on, although you do get some initial hiss at the start which disappears completely as the tubes warm up after about 3-5 seconds. Once warm, the amp is silent with no hiss all the way up to max volume and no distortion even at the top.The bluetooth works well if you need to use it that way. But the key thing for me was the sound, it has to be clear and neutral in colour, and its sound defies it's size, a bargain buy if you ask me.

Pretty good!
I bought this to replace my 30 year old Yamaha amp. Is it as good? No, but is it pretty good. I am using it for computer audio and music along with TV audio via a switch box. It has plenty of volume although I am getting a little distortion when turned right up, however, I live in a flat so that isn't a concern. At lower volumes it has good presence and the valves add some nice warmth. My only functional niggle is that the bluetooth switch is on the back. Also, there is a blue LED under valves. Orange or red would have been more logical, but hey ho... All in all, it is a great little amp for the money.

Incredibly good little amplifier !
I read some reviews and thought it was time I tried a mini tube amplifier as never really have time to run my main amps much. I'm a hifi fan with a lot of gear so went to the lower end to see what it's all about. I received it very quickly and immediately swopped out my latest mini amp purchase (Loxjie A10 also brilliant) and plugged it straight in, no dac just connected to my external Sony BM10 bluetooth receiver and played high res (ish) Spotify to a pair of B&W 606's to begin. I am blown away even with relatively low end tubes (still class D amplification) the sound is warm, clean, BIG, with wide open sound stage, sparkly highs, confident mid ranges and defined bass with real weight. Most impressive is the stereo separation, it's way better than I expected. B&W 606 speakers are not the easiest to drive but this little amp has them pushing air and singing. Hooked up to a pair of floorstanders (a lot to ask) but again got them singing. There are limitations of what you can ask of a simple set up like this (with just 25-30 watts of useable power) to do but for the most part they sound great and better than some very expensive older amps I have. It's beautifully made too so definitely 5 stars from me. :-)
