Beware 5 star reviews
First off, when you open this box, you will see a slip of paper bribing you to leave a 5 star review. They promise to send you a gift card or SD card if you post a 5 star review. So keep that in mind when reading all the other reviews. My main issues so far - the microphone is useless. If you turn it on, you just hear the most horrible noises coming through. Turn it off right away.Takes a LONG time to connect. I get a notification that something happened so I click it and it starts the app ... it takes way too long to actually show the live video.Doesn't take screenshots. I would have thought there'd be an option to have it take screenshots when it detects motion, but no, only video. You can take screenshots manually, but that's it.If you don't subscribe to their cloud service, the camera is very limited. If you DO subscribe, you get a nice calendar that shows when events happen so you can look at them. If you DON'T subscribe, you don't get that at all. There's no reason they couldn't store events like that on the SD card. All you get with the SD card is a long video stream that you can page back through to try to find the motion. LAME.I mean, it works, so I'll give it 2 stars, but it's definitely a case of "you get what you pay for".

Easy setup, works well with android app but windows app is weak
Very good quality camera. It was easy to setup, however a manual would be nice to tell you how to access storage and replay. Only negatives are: the windows app lets you view what camera sees now but does not have the ability to search and replay motion detection videos. Also, it has a nice feature that you can turn off and on that makes a sound when it is tripped. Unfortunately it is the sound of a small dog barking and there is no way to change the sound. I am pleased with this camera, but the inability to view recordings on the windows application forces me to give it a four star rather than a five.

Does not work with Alexa
Connecting the camera to my network wasn't too bad. Using the camera through my phone worked also but, I don't stare at my phone all day like some people. Trying to connect to Alexa didn't happen. The camera is made by Heimvision but to connect to Alexa a skill called Closeli is needed. There were 15 reviews of Closeli all one star with very negative comments. This is an update for the Heimvision cameras HM205 and HM211. Both cameras worked well. I had returned the cameras after not connecting with Alexa. The customer support team for Heimvision contacted me and offered two new cameras and asked if I would help them with the Alexa issue. After numerous emails and testing the Closeli skill for Alexa wouldn't function properly. I've revised my rating estimate of the cameras because they do work well. I'm sure they are addressing the Closeli skill issue judging from the volume of email correspondence.

Easy to install and monitor
Great, high quality product. I bought this to add to my existing home security setup. It integrates nicely with my other outdoor cameras and I can pull it up on my TV just like the others. Installation was simple with the provided hardware.

Not what I hoped it would be
This would be a great product if everything worked like it claims. It has a lot of great "features" but almost none of them work correctly. The motion sensitivity can be set to low, medium, or high. On low and medium it registers nothing. On high it picks up every speck of dust or rain drop that floats by the camera. The motion detection zone doesn't work at all. You can select the boxes you want it to trigger, but ultimately it just detects everything in the field of view.If you use an SD card to avoid the subscription fee, there is a 5 minute delay. By that time you may as well not worry about what's happening at the house because the damage has already been done. Also, every once in a while it will loose connection and they have to be reset. This happened on day one of a 3 day trip out of town. A lot of good that did to monitor the house while I was away!Like I said, I was holding out hope these would be what I was looking for, but like they say... you get what you pay for.

Generally very nice camera
I first bought another cheaper outdoor camera and the wireless connection turned out to be very unreliable, and sometimes was not even able to connect. Then I switched to this camera. Here are the pros and cons I found:Pros:1. It is super easy to add the device to your smart phone2. The picture quality and response it very fast comparing to other cameras3. It has quite some nice features like motion triggered flush light.4. The building quality is solid, it feels very nice in hand5. The manufacturer has many other video products and they all have relatively good user reviews.Cons:1. It keeps detecting motion even motion detect is turned off from the app2. The power cord is black color, which does not match the camera or the cord from the camera

The quality is good, small and good-looking, according to the instructions to install is also very simple, the camera day and night effects are good, the picture is very clear, but also wireless mobile phone monitoring, mainly dialogue, installed in front of the home is very rest assured

10x Better than Arlo
Set up both cameras I purchased to compare to our existing cameras. The only difficulty I had was figuring out that the reset/reboot button was by micro SD cardFollow up I have 6 of these cameras now, overall still 5 stars, but the app has some glitches. Example: when checking detection area the camera keeps the picture no matter where you move it to try to improve detection area (a little irritating), 2nd the feedback screen in the app looks like Chinese and doesn't seem to work.Figured out detection glitch in app, clear cache in Android settings.
