A Board for Everyone: Wireless, Functional, Customisable & A Joy to Type on
SHORT VERSION:If you want a functional, sturdy board that allows for tons of customisation and ease of use, you cannot go wrong with the Anne Pro 2.LONG VERSION:As my entry purchase intro the custom keyboard world, I was not disappointed by this board; if anything, I was pleasantly surprised. The main reasons why I went with this board was the wireless connectivity and the ingenious “tap” feature. The first is pretty self explanatory and the second I have briefly outlined at the end of this review for those interested. The board case is made out of plastic but as any other review will tell you, it is sturdy as ever. RBG, Gateron switch options, USB-C, decent battery life (given you go easy on the RGB), all add to the experience. You can configure 4 different Bluetooth devices to pair to the Anne Pro 2, so by hitting FN+1/2/3/4, you can switch between them instantly. The default keycaps that come with the board are more than decent, although the font is admittedly quite generic and the making of the keycaps themselves is not one-to-one (one CNTRL key maybe be slightly different that another). But unless you are looking for such minor inconsistencies, you probably will never notice them actively.Obinskit (the configuration software for this board), is very thorough and gives power users the choice to really customise every single key combo on this board. Also, frequent upgrades for the keyboard through this software is always nice to see. An underrated feature on this segment is that any software changes you make on the board (lighting effects, key mappings, macros), are all downloaded on the board itself. This effectively means that as I am typing this review on my board connected to a tablet, I have all the same shortcuts and macros and lighting effects that I have set up from my PC, since they are stored locally on the board. I think this is feature that is often not given enough credit. For switches, I went with Gateron Browns and after a week of typing on them, and with the factory lubed having started to do its work, the experience is exactly the tactile, clicky typing that I was looking for. Blues would have also been great, but the sound would have been unbearable for my use case.—Tap feature:Since the Anne Pro 2 has no arrow keys, it can be hard for newcomers to get used to this change (despite the implementation of ‘FN+key’ combinations to get into your arrow keys, as is common with such boards). This board though, allows the user to configure whichever button they want, to have a “tap” activation besides the obvious click activation. Although theoretically, this can be used to remap any button to any function, it has made this board famous for its inclusion, out of the box, of this feature to use as arrow keys. Long story short, if you tap on the buttons at the leftmost side of the board (Cntrl, FN, Right Shift), they automatically function as arrow keys, and turn into their original function when you press and hold them even briefly (which is how most of us utilise such “modifier” keys anyway. It’s a very witty solution, which not only makes this transition to a smaller board seamless, but also unlocks another extra layer of configuration on top the existing TWO fn layers you can customise.

Great keyboard... when wired
Took me awhile to get used to the layout as I was dependent on numpad and arrow keys, however, after around a week of active use I found myself less alliance and performing quicker using function keys. The sound is great when typing - makes it much more enjoyable.Bluetooth is very hit and miss.

Fantastic 60% keyboard
Keyboard is an awesome 60% keyboard in my humble opinion. Comes with extra keycaps so you can customise it straight away. Only issue I had was with the supplied cable, it just didn't work so I bought a new 1 and it's been perfect since. Would recommend wired or wireless.

Misplaced punctuation on USA keyboard + Misses arrow keys for proper text editing.
Sorry in advance for being severe, but you need to know what you get into before buying. THIS IS A GAMING KEYBOARD. Full stop. (And maybe not even for professional gaming, I can't really comment on that..)TL;DROK, let me explain why I'm very disappointed.1/ (A MINUS) Ok, so first things first, when I buy a keyboard on a .CO.UK website I expect it to be a "United Kingdom" keyboard. And if that's not the case, then you need to make it explicit. Otherwise we're disappointed. Having the punctuation misplaced on keys is annoying (comma, doublequotes, @, #, and I couldn't even find the "~" character for a minute or two).2/ (A PLUS... AND A BIG MINUS) The trick for using the right hand side keys (AltGr+CtxMenu+RightCtrl+RightShift) as arrows, is a really cool idea... but it's a shame that it doesn't allow me to use the left SHIFT while pressing them in order to select text while moving the cursor. That's a productivity killer. => I don't miss the Numeric Pad at all. But, oh my!, I miss the arrow keys so very much!!! :'( It makes it really hard for professional text editing. Impossible in fact. I doubt I have any use for this keyboard. Unless maybe if I exclusively use the Vim text editor.3/ (THE ACTUAL PLUS) I suppose it's a nice keyboard for gaming. It takes very little space on the table, which therefore leaves plenty for the mouse : so that's cool. [That being said, I haven't made any performance analysis , and I can't tell if this keyboard is actually very responsive for gaming (wired vs. bluetooth) so I can't comment on that.]
