18 Wheels of Steel: Haulin' - PC

I've played 18 wheels of steel since I was a kid. I love all of them and I'm in the process of purchasing them all.Pedal to the Metal was the the first one I played I then got American Long Haul some time later. I wanted to buy another one and saw this one. I received it and installed it without a hitch, I brought it up and at first, thought I'd made a mistake. But I realized it was the same game as American Long Haul. Its the same game engine. In every detail. The only difference is the music and Haulin' has a few less cities. I give it a 4 star because of the similarity to ALH. Haulin' and American long haul are great games. But I would have made them different.

Game is perfect. Running it on windows 8.1 and the graphics are high quality and runs at a high frame rate. When installing the only issue I had was it saying that direct-x 9 or something isn't compatible with this version. I clicked ok then installed with compatibility option that popped up and it was perfect and smooth. It is an older game so I'm sure you have to run it that way. I use my xbox one controller with this one and no issues there. I played 18 WoS before this a long time ago, and this seems like a big updated version with new places, trucks, and trailers. Overall I am very impressed with this game and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice truck driving game. Also, wipers, turn signals, headlights, etc, are still in this game, making it more realistic! It's a must buy!

18 Wheels of Steel Haulin' is unlike any other trucking game out there. For one thing when you earn enough money hauling goods all across America and Canada, you can use your cash to buy your new truck from a truck dealer or order one from the order truck part of the notepad on the game.Also in the game is the part where you can order trailers for your trucks. To find out more about the game,be sure to buy this game. If the video cards on your computer are not updated,be sure to update them so that the game works better. I had to do that and I can tell you that it works much better than it did before. 5 stars for this game,and thanks to those people who helped put this game together. One game play point, when you hire drivers for your trucking company,you have to assign both a truck and trailer to the driver.

I really love this game. Been enjoying 18 Wheels of Steel Tractor-Trailer Simulator Game, since June in 2009. Been doing virtual truck-driving for almost 6 years now. Began with 18 Wheels of Steel: Hard Truck, and moved onto 18 Wheels of Steel: Extreme Trucker in August of 2009 until mid-late July of 2015. I caught on really easy with prior virtual driving experience I gain from the 18 Wheels of Steel: Extreme Trucker sessions, which number in nearly 700+ deliveries of successful cargo runs. This is one game to add on to the list of every virtual trucker's need for driving simulators to continue their hobby, which I am fairly a passionate man on.

When i first received it, no instructions so i had to figure out how to manuever some things.. its an ok game, my son seems to enjoy it.. there are no directions of which way to go so i had to guess... bad with directions. overall, it was fun, my son is 10 and seemed to like it. Probably would have like more interaction with other truckers.. he is kind of bored with it already..

Game was just as advertised! The game experience is something like this: You drive around and get bored and start smashing into things and then get more bored and realize there are cheat codes, you use the cheat codes and have fun for maybe another day or so and then it goes on a shelf until you write an amazon review that rekindles your interest and you start playing again. Would recommend.

This game is fun for the first month or two then it really starts to get old. I have made Millions and have 4 millionin my pocket in the game and it just gets boring. Another great thing to do is in single delivery forget about your trailer and road rage!! :) :)

Game is pretty slow paced and thats not so bad. It says it supports steering wheels and pedals....well thats not true. I use a TSW2 Modified "expensive" wheel and the game doesnt completely support it. The maps are kind of worthless on showing which way to go and so on. I guess its a good game for younger kids and not old retired truckers.

I am very disappointed in this game, I had expected more out of it then what I got. I have been playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 for a long while now, so I thought I would try this one as well. Well I guess I wasted my money. Oh well back to ETS2, keep on Truck all.

I had the old version, but now upgraded to this one and it is far better, graphics, trucks, excellent game if you like trucks.

18 Wheels Of Steel: Haulin is the latest game in the 18 Wheels Of Steel series. In this game you are given a truck and must go around Canada and America searching for cargo to haul from A to B.
