Life changing whisky experience
This is a perfect marriage of peat, sherry and smoke. Once tasted my promiscuous whisky journey almost faltered. I’m stronger now and continue to dalliance with new and passed loves too.Oogy edges out the Laphroaig Lore offering which is also a remarkable dram too at the same price point.I usually steer clear of Non Age Statement Whisky’s as your playing roulette with your hard earned whisky finances but there’s no danger or regret here. When on offer I’ll wade in and purchase as many as I’m able to hide from the misses .I’m not going to waffle on any further, so here’s what some real experts say:-Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of MaltNose: Multifaceted, notes of peat and little flourishes of dark sugar, freshly ground espresso beans, cereal notes and a most sophisticated tar.Palate: Led by sweet, ripe fruit and black forest honey. A good helping of malt. The throne then usurped by a powerful peat and smoked barley.Finish: Very long, caramel and malt weave their way through peat smoke and dark sugar and just a hint of fresh espresso coffee before it finally peters out.Overall: Such deft balance! How wonderful to sample Ardbeg so beautifully complimented by sherry.Slàinte Mhath 🥃

Incredible whisky
This really took me by surprise. I have tried a few peated whiskies lately (Ardbeg 10, Laphroaig 10 etc) and I’ve really developed a taste for them. I kept hearing great things about Ardbeg Uigeadail as it’s also got a sherry influence which appeals to me as a fan of Sherried whisky but I didn’t know how well it would work with a legendarily smoky whisky like Ardbeg. It’s totally blown me away, far stronger and flavoursome than the Ardbeg 10, the peat smoke is here in spades but there’s a roundness to it as well. So much flavour, it’s a real heavy hitter. If you like peat and sherry you’ll love this. If you’re not a fan of peat stay well clear!

Massive peat, slight burn, great addition to your whisky selection.
What can I say about this whisky. I love peat and this has it in abundance. It is a slighlty harsh whisky due to the high alchohol content. Splash of water might help but I dont like adding water to whisky. For me, although I wouldnt grab this one at the beginning of the night, after having a few lagavulin's it takes the peat to the next level. Great additons to anyones whisky selection.

Ardbeg Uigeadail Is in my opinion absolutely lovely
Ardbeg is one of many of my favourites but this Uigeadail is my third bottle and it won’t be my last I highly recommend it especially if you love Islay whiskey. It’s complex it’s smokey but fruity and sea brine it’s a bonfire going off in you mouth it’s bloody fantastic. It’s a proper mans whiskey those who say it’s harsh or horrible shouldn’t start with a whiskey like this same with Laphroig. For a newbie whiskey drinker try Haig club whiskey then as your taste changes and you get a bit older you will understand why I have put this as if you do buy Ardbeg you might be put off whiskey we don’t want that we want you to love it and appreciate one of life’s gems but it’s liquid gold in a bottle not for the faint hearted but enjoy every drop I do. 😉👍🥃
