Tefal Blendeo BL2A3142 Blender – 400W / White

Having looked extremely closely in the shops, online and on review sites I chose this blender. It is one of the largest glass ones you can get, it has a well powered motor at 600 watts and it appears reliable. Overall I think it is the best combination of quality, performance and price on the market bearing in mind blenders seem to range from £10 to £600.Some details. The jug is glass but despite being larger than our previous blender it seems to be lighter than that was. Medium weight though. The blender sits on some rubbery feet that cushion it nicely and reduce noise. I saw one review that said this was noisy. I think all blenders are quite noisy. This is no different but I would say it is quieter than our last one so does not seem very noisy to me. It has 6 blades that seem to blend well. It has a pulse setting and 5 speeds although setting 3 is rather similar to 5 in my opinion but having effectively 3 plus pulse seems more than enough. The blades detach from the jug by pressing a red button. There is a lug that engages one side of the jug and the red button releases the lug on the other side allowing the pieces to be separated for cleaning. The other red button you can see in the image allows the whole jug and blades together to be clipped onto the blender for use and by pressing that red button they can be detached. Most blenders blades screw into the jug. I have found that these do not necessarily seal and can cause problems. The seal on this works fine and providing that it lasts I think this lug and release type arrangement might be more definite.This blender feels quite good quality to me, if you know what I mean, therefore I am happy with the purchase as it looks and performs well for a sensible price. No regrets at all.

This is an excellent blender at a very good price! I wanted a good quality blender with a glass goblet and a range of speeds. This ticked all the boxes. It is so easy to clean after use and has so far fulfilled all expectations. This is not a small item and is quite heavy, but competes well with many higher priced, similar products! Pleased with my purchase.My only reservation is the seller, who took over 4 weeks to deliver and deprived me of my Christmas present! Lost in transition? It arrived eventually after much correspondence with the seller but no apology for inconvenience caused!

A great little blender. Cheap and cheerful. I use it everyday for breakfast smoothies and it’s still going. My only criticism is that it doesn’t always blend all the fruit but I just have to blend it a little longer than my previous blender. Fantastic price.

Love this blender. I haven’t used the additional chopping and grinding mills yet but the blender itself is great. The jug is a little on the small side and it isn't glass as is stated on various other reviews but really quick and really efficient. Very easy to clean.

It’s not a very powerful blender, it takes quite some time to mix everything and it doesn’t work that well for harder things even though it says it could even blend ice. It’s easy to use and clean but not very efficient

I wouldnt give this product not even a star! A huge regret buying this one. I was trying to blend a smoothie with banana. Let it blend for 5-8 mins. The banana was not even grinded. I tried 2nd time, still the banana not even grinded. Still in one piece. Then I blended garlic, onion, ginger, chillies using the small blender that came a long in one set. Guess what, it didnt even grind the garlic. Still in one piece. What the hell is wrong with this product? Its very disappointing amd frustrating. How can I return this product? Im not happy with it at all!

I bought this as a replacement for another Tefal blender that had a plastic jug which wasn't up to dealing with hot/warm liquids and so far I'm really pleased with it. It appears to be quite robust and the glass jug is made of quite thick glass and has a large capacity which is great for soups etc. I'm pleased with the product and the price I paid for it.
