Shoreline MarineColor Coded, 3"/30 Amp Battery Clip

Definitely NOT capable of carrying 30A. Need to add jumper between jaws to make both able to carry current. (Can't fit two 10AWG wires into one crimp terminal to effect jump.) Wholly plastic except for copper jaws. Jaws open to only 3/4". OK for clipping to flat metal but no good for battery posts.

These have a small butt connector (yellow) embedded in them--not a bad idea, but nearly impossible to crimp! You can get a tool in there. And if you don't nail it the first time (which I didn't really) the entire clamp is ruined.

Good quality.The connection is a tab with a push-on crimped wire. Each jaw is separated electrically from each other, so you can put 2 crimped-on wires on a single connector if you want.Crimp is easily separated from the connector (by pushing it via the front jaw opening) without having to do any soldering.This type of connector is also suitable for those digital battery analyzer using 4-wires (2 for pos, 2 for neg).The jaw opens big enough for a car battery connector.

Not a bad product but small in size and limited in power. Hard to realize the size when you order.I have a 50 Amps charger, so not the right product.

clamp pressure is good and the work fine

Used this item as a way to get 12 volt vehicle power to the skinning rack at out hunt camp to power 12 volt lighting due to we have no electrical power. This worked great. Functioned as intended and I highly recommend this item for this and any other power supply applications outside where electrical power is unavailable.

Works real. Needs better terminal clips.Clips are starting rust significantly after 1 month on the water.

Would be better if they used ring terminals to connect wire instead of spade.
