Easy to install,came with a hair filter,modern look

This drain was used for my shower stall new build. Concrete/deck mud with PVC liner. Exact steps and layers as the diagram inside the package shows.My experience:First, it has everything. Nice weep passages to allow drainage at the last defense - liner. Precise fit over PVC pipe. Solid hardwares. Great fitment and feel of drain top plate under bare feet. Choices of rubber or threaded PVC for final drain height adjustment before install. Top plate is reversible for tiling in. Cylinder screen to catch debris and prevent clogging, and a key to remove top plate.These options don’t always come with other, more expensive drains. When optioned out, other brands cost significantly more. I’ve compared. The price is another reason for the 5 stars.I installed honed pebble mosaic around this drain. Protected it with masking tape until sanded grout was applied. The result is a fixture free from marring.I absolutely recommend this. Already bought again for the next remodeling.

I received the shower drain kit but have not installed it yet. It appeared to be a good quality plumbing product and good value compare to the big box stores. The only slight negative is the lift key is missing from the package. I contacted the seller and was told it will be shipped to me in about 15 to 30 days so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I LOVE this drain!!! This was the THIRD shower pan we did. Our first prefab broke before the bathroom was even finished. Then a friend did a regular tiled pan for us and screwed it up. So there went that drain cover. Third time was a charm (hired a real contractor) and I ordered this drain. I like the option of using tile in it or not. Obviously we did and I’m in love with it. It’s so seamless and I don’t even realize I’m stepping on the drain. I also have very very long hair and my husband has to snake our drains once a year at least because of it (at least before we replaced the old lead pipes). The hair catcher works well and is easy to clean out. I have to do it about once a week, which isn’t too bad IMO.

What a beautiful drain that you can cover with your floor tile or turn over for a stainless cover. Our tile guy cut the tile to fit. Didn’t need to use all the parts that came with it. Said it was good quality. Looks stunning. The best part is the double drain hair catcher. I clean out a pile of hair once a week that normally would slide past other hair catchers and have to be pulled way deep down the drain with a hanger. This is super easy to clean out and looks stunning!

Order this drain assembly to get a more seamless look to the shower pan. Also, the small hair catching basket that sits in the drain is very easily removed for maintenance of anything that happens to follow the water down the drain. At first glance of the shower. One would not realize there was a drain in the middle of the pan. Highly recommend!

My contractor was all set to install a regular chrome drain in the center of my beautiful new tiled shower. I had seen the elongated ones, but it was too late for that. I asked him to tile the center of this to match the floor and it looks great--plus it catches hair in an easy to clean filter.

Using for a shower remodel. Seems to be very sturdy and well made, however, 2 of the 4 bolts were missing when it arrived. Trying to track them down so we can continue the project.
