Are these paper or plastic? I see conflicting responses.

The pack I received are high quality plastic coated standard card stock (stiff high mil paper with plastic on both sides). The pack actually has it printed on the lid superficie plastica. Actually very much like, if not the same as, standard Hoyle or Bicycle poker decks. Hope this helps.
