Works wonders
Fits nice and makes tig welding so much easier. The price is well worth the ease of use, and it has held up good so far.

Wish I bought it earlier.
I can't believe the difference this thing made for me. I've watched a lot of the videos made by the guy who sells these. I'm new to GTAW/TIG and having to wear thin gloves for dexterity results in my fingers heating up very quick. Especially the pinky and bottom of my hand as I drag it across the surface. Towards the end of a pass the heat would get so bad I found myself having to pull my hand up or move quicker to try and get done. That resulted in very bad welds. Today was my first day of really using the TIG finger. It worked just like promised! Couldn't feel the heat on my fingers or hand and I was able to hold my hand in the proper position to get a great pattern of tiny dimes. Over and over on a very hot surface I couldn't feel the extreme amount of heat coming off the work piece.I slid the TIG Finger over a clamp, mounted to the table, and the bulk of it created a very stable platform to rest my hand instead of just balancing on the head of the clamp. It also worked great just placing it between my hand and the table so I could smoothly drag my torch hand without feeling the heat coming through the table and tearing up my glove. In the end, the TIG Finger improved my weld pattern and I would give this as a gift and I will probably buy the XL version so I have more options.

It works and overall a great product.
Maybe just a personal preference but I don’t like how the ends aren’t continuously threaded together. I found myself constantly adjusting then because of this. Even when doubled over itself I couldn’t get away from this problem. It’s bound to bunch up and/or unfold while trying to use. There is plenty of length but it seems so unnecessary to have this much length when the ends could be tied together and the whole thing shortened. There’s also plenty of heat protection so all this length is again not necessary. Maybe I’m doing it wrong but it’s not even close to comfortable for this sole reason. You won’t get burnt but how many layers do you need of this thing. At some point you’re just welding your finger into the joint. I can get right next to the weld with it rolled up like it was a stitched together on the ends. I can see the thing start to smoke I’m so close and I don’t feel a thing. If I’m rolling this thing up wrong, send directions then lol. (Unlikely, since it’s not rocket science). I’m also welding on a 225 so that gives you a ballpark on what kind of heat I could potentially be exposed to.

Game changer!!!
As another reviewer said, this really is a game changer. I was reluctant to buy one at first thinking it would be bulky and get in the way. I was dead wrong!!! It took a minute to get use to but well worth the effort in the end. I had project for about a year that requited me to do 4-16' tig welds on 1/4-/12" stainless and this thing was a life saver. Not only did it make the project more efficient from not having to stoop cause the piece was to hot but it prolonged the life of my gloves greatly. With about 6 hours a day of dragging on a stainless corner it took about 6 months before I need to get another. I then bought the 2 pack with the XL. Once again, game changer!!!! The XL is big enough to wrap around your whole hand. Theres several copy cat products out there now but this is still the best of the bunch, the true OG
