There are several different 'brands' of these kits on Amazon. The descriptions and Q&As have all lacked the one piece of information that I really needed to know - do any of the adaptors fit a Peugeot 308 SW set of rear calipers and to be specific, the calipers that are fit for 268mm x 12mm solid discs. I have seen them listed as Pagid, Lucas and TRW, essentially they fit to TRW Caliper Carrier BDA589 & BDA590. The answer to that is yes. I used adaptor K2, but think that 6 or 7 would have done too. Very happy that I bought this, it's a steal at ~£15 as looks like it will last for a very long time and is very easy to use.End is magnetic so plate stays in place while setting up. Makes for an incredibly easy rewind process.I haven't the time right now, but might update in the future - the description should have measurements - diameter of the lugs and distance apart, so that some simple measuring would allow an informed decision to be made on whether the adaptors will fit your make and model of caliper. Ultimately, I have read reviews of some of these where mechanics say they have used every day for a couple of years and have not happened across a car the haven't worked on.Anyway, good product, fits calipers on my ageing car, makes light work of rewinding the piston, reduces chance of causing damage using mole grips and the like and is very cheap for something that make a PITA job so much easier.If you've been winding pistons back the hard way, give yourself a break.

Very easy to use, sturdy and excellent value for money. It won't wind back the electric motor in assisted parking brake systems, which needs to be done beforehand either manually or electronically, but once that is out of the way, this is an excellent tool for pushing back the brake calliper piston. Many other improvised tools can be used to the same effect, but this is perfect for the job and goes easy on components. Don't forget to undo the brake fluid reservoir cap and surround it in some rag first. Keep an eye on the fluid level as you force the piston back. I used it on a BMW F11's rear brakes.

I own a pickup truck - and automatic one - and thus I end up changing brake pads at least once a year sometimes twice. These things are heavy on the pads I can tell you.So, either I pull out at least £150 - probably more or I do it myself. And given that it's a one hour job and £35 for the pads I figure I can manage that well enough. However, one does need a few tools and a brake caliper compressor is maybe not 100% needed but pretty close so I bought this set.Works a treat. It's well made and will fit any size caliper you might come across unless you drive a Bugatti in which case I doubt you'll be grubbing around on the drive.Made light work of pushing the hydraulic pistons in to allow the fitting of new pads.Overall, a money saver for me.

Ideal for what I wanted, very good price have used on different vehicles, all items kept in box.

Great value, very easy to use. It has both left and right hand wind back tools with plenty of adapters.Seems to be made to last but only time will tell.

Wish I had got one before great to have so easy and quick to use all contained in a compact small case so not taking up a load of space that was a real benefit for me , with the selection of drive plates should think there's something for most makes of cars calipers and if you stuck it wouldn't take much to modify one to suit your needsHighly recommend nothing to think about getting one
