The media could not be loaded.  I really like this film. It's a great price for the amount you get. As well as being a good size (A3 wide by 3m long) it is also a nice thickness for strength of coverage. The guide grid on the back makes for easy cutting and it is very easy to apply with no bubbles - I would advise watching my video if it is the first time you are using clear sticky film. I hate seeing poor reviews because of user error so for best results...Handy hints: Watch the video to see the step by step process below in action.You will need a pair of scissors, a craft or Stanley knife and a store/credit card for smoothing.1. Trim the film using the grid guide to about 1cm bigger than your item.2. Peel back a tiny corner before you start3. Work bottom up. Lay the film backing side down on your item to be covered and peel back about 4-5cm pressing the sticky into place with the edge of the card4. Hold the stuck bit and fold the rest of the piece of film towards you and peel back another 5-6cm. Fold back over and press the sticky down with the card edge in an upward and outward motion to push any bubbles out over the far edges.5. Keep peeling and pushing and smoothing until you reach the top edge.6. Press firmly all over middle to outer edges.7. Trim excess from around using a craft knife or scissors

The product was to be used for covering paperback books and hardback books with sleeves. It needs to be handled with care as it easily sticks to itself or other surfaces and, once stuck on as a cover, it is only removed with difficulty (and can make a mess of the surface from which it is removed).So too, as it is difficult to remove, once it is on a surface it can cause bubbles and corrugations in the material or the cover onto which it is placed.The product has been abandoned in favour of softer, more malleable, even if more expensive, alternatives.

So frustrating. The product arrive folded. Because of the sturdy nature of the covers, the fold has totally distorted the product which doesn’t lie flat and looks appalling.And the worst is still to come.My beautiful report book which I had wanted to cover has been totally wrecked by this rubbish product because it’s basically TOO SMALL! I had to bend and crease the jacket cover of my book into it.... it is a total waste of time. It doesn’t work. It doesn’t hold A4. It needs to be at last 4mm wider. And it looks appalling with the crease.Do not waste your time and money and ruin your lovely book like I have.

Bought this to back my son's school exercise books. I've been backing books for as long as I can remember so I don't find it difficult to use, it is very sticky so this may be a problem to some. Once it has adhered to paper/card there is no way you will be able to remove without the paper or card tearing.Did the job, and the quantity/quality was brilliant for the price.

Very good quality .. sticks well to the book you are covering to protect .. there are guidelines on the back of it which aids in cutting it the exact size required .. it does take a nack of placing it onto the book .. it once you get yourself into the flow of placing it on one edge and going across the cover of the book it’s relatively straight forward! If I’m doubt look on Social media such as YouTube for how to videos!

This product is fantastic for covering books and notebooks. I think it is relatively easy to use as long as you are careful and take your time. There is a grid printed on the backing paper so it is easy to cut it accurately. You do have to be careful that it doesn't stick to itself or stick to the wrong thing when you are applying it. You just need to go slowly. I was impressed that there were no air bubbles. The roll doesn't look that large but I still have lots of it left after covering several A5 notebooks.

Not sure why, but all school books need to be wrapped in plastic. Seems a waste of plastic to me, and means you can’t recycle them, but it does mean they look less dog eared come the end of the year, works well. If you put it plastic side down, it static clings to the table and stays flat when the paper is peeled off, meaning it is easy to stick to a book.
