It fit into my 2018 Jeep Wrangler..

Will this fit a 2012 Jeep Wrangler 2 door jk?

I have a 2014 Jk and it did fit, however if you plan to use the USB located inside the center console, you will have to cut out the tray at the bottom.

Will this still work if have best top lock box in? Like would it be able to go on top and clear and be able to close too?

Yes it will. Mine locks as well and this item worked perfectly. Only thing is that if you are using the USB inside the center console, you won't be able to use this item unless you make some modifications to it. But yes, you can lock it

Why is there a hole in the tray?

The hole on the bottom of the tray is for a USB cable from the port inside of the center console to enter the tray
