EVGA GeForce 9500 GT 512 MB DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 2DVI/HDTV SLI Ready Graphics Card, 512-P3-N954-TR

After looking through the different video cards available here and elsewhere I settled on the 9500gt. It has some decent gaming capabilities, but where it shines is the power consumption. This chip uses 50w. That means it doesn't need the extra pcie power connector and it runs very cool.Nvidia is spot on with their drivers too so all software runs flawlessly. If you need a low-power card that can run all older software extremely well, and newer software at lower settings this is it.btw by my testing and research, this card is roughly as fast as a geforce 8600gt, which is as fast as the geforce 7800gt which is the type of chip which is in the ps3 and is comparable to the xbox 360's video chip. If you compare screenshots from newer games like bioshock 2 and others at good settings for this card (low) they look very, very similar to screenshots from the 360 and ps3.

I bought this card as an upgrade to the on board video for my Dell 530 Inspiron PC. It doesn't require additional power which makes it an easy install (plus you don't have to worry about the size of your power supply)I like it so much I bought a second card to put in my newer Dell 518 Inspiron PC.I just downloaded the latest driver from nvidia's website for XP and Vista and they both have worked well for all the games I play. Some older games don't auto-set the highest graphics preferences, but the card is more than capable of it (at least for the slightly older games I usually play).

Although most advertisements and equipment descriptions for better performing video adapters are aimed at gamers, I selected this one for dual DVI ports to bring my home system up to the level I have grown accustomed to at work in a professional office environment. I like to keep multiple windows open for long periods of time and this video adapter allows me to use two screens so I don't have to scroll through as many windows to find the one I want to see. This device was simple to install and use. No problems, just life as it should be.

This video card is ok, runs fine under Windows 7. It is nothing special but it is cheap and will give you dual connectors (for 2 screen setup) and let you run Aero.I ordered this card and after a week it did not ship, so I canceled via Amazon's website. I then ordered from another website that I use, same price but I got it in 2 days. Then about a week after that received an email that Amazon had shipped the card! They were nice about the whole thing but I had to go to the post office and refuse the shipment and then wait for a credit on my card. It was very annoying over all and a huge waste of time.I am usually very please with Amazon, but not with this order.

I've been using EVGA products for several years now in all my computer builds with great success. I pruchased this card to be installed into a home server, the installation was very simple and quick as usual, and the card works great for the price. I use their higher end cards for heavy graphic demands such as gaming and photo editing and creating videos, but for the purpose I brought this card its doing a fine job.

I bought this card to upgrade from an onboard graphics card. I was hoping for just a minor upgrade to graphics and framerates for games like World of Warcraft and Guild Wars. My expectations were blown away when I popped this card in my system and on high detail has a normal of 60 fps(thats way up from 15 on lowest settings) This card probably wouldnt be great for the newest games out there, but i bet it would be fine for mid-range games if you have the ram and processors to handel them too. Intall was easy too. This card is great!!!

Great value! Installed on a PC with Windows 7 64 bit with no driver issues at all. Downloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia. Use this card with both Solid Works 9 and Solid Edge ST2. Much better performance than WinXP 32 bit and FireGL V3100. Card is relatively quiet and runs cool. Low power and does not require a power connection. Small physical size and should fit in all tower cases. Would recommend this card for anyone who needs graphics card with great bang for your buck.

well this card is a great deal, its not the best one out there but for the price and performance it is a very goood deal, gaming and lots more can be done with this evga

Habe die Grafikkarte erhalten, eingebaut, Treiber von CD installiert, und alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Das NVIDEA Steuerungssystem ist in deutscher Sprache und leicht verständlich. Konnte (fast) alles nach meinen Anforderungen konfigurieren.Ich habe zwei Monitore angeschlossen (DVI) und meinen TV (S-VHS). Jedoch laufen jeweils nur zwei der Geräte. Habe also meinen primären Monitor und muss wählen, ob ich als zweites Anzeigegerät mit dem Zweitmonitor, oder mit dem TV arbeiten will. Alle drei Anzeigegeräte auf einmal zu nutzen ist leider nicht möglich, zumindest habe ich es nicht hin bekommen. Deshalb ein Stern Abzug.Windows Vista erkennt die Karte und bietet ein Softwareupdate an. Wenn man dieses jedoch installiert, ist das NVIDEA Steuerungssystem anschließend auf englisch. Habe danach die CD nochmals eingelegt, den Treiber der CD nochmals drüber installiert, und alles ist wieder beim alten. Das von Vista angebotene Update werde ich in Zukunft vom Update ausschließen.Aber alles in Allem bin ich sehr zufrieden.
