DANGEROUS One use and it is leaking tons of Propane, DANGEROUS
I purchased this from Amazon to use on our toy hauler, it looked good and reviews seemed to be ok at the time. However I installed it and used it one time on a trip to the mountains. The second time we used the toy hauler I started smelling propane, a lot of propane. When I tracked the smell down I found that the regulator was leaking from the crimped seal on the outlet side of the regulator??? I'm glad I noticed this before a major problem occurred, ie EXPLOSION OR DEATH. I have used regulators for years on various things, however to have one fail like this after just a few months on the RV is scary!! I looked up the item to contact the seller however no options was given so I am giving this 1 start. If they had left an options to contact and had customer service number or email to contact my rating would reflects that.

Yes, cheap, but often fails.
Buy at least 2 because when the first one fails (pinches off flow or delivers no propane at all) after a few weeks worth of use, you'll be glad you have another on hand to keep your perishables from spoiling (assuming you notice in time). However, sitting on the side of the freeway re-applying yellow tape isn't that fun, so you'll likely be better off getting a more reliable regulator. Cheap? Yes, but not worth your labor time, or the cost of replacing your perishables. I just hope the other options at ~$30 are significantly more reliable.

Garbage - Camco regulators never make it more than a year.
I bought my travel trailer in 2015. After discussing my lack of propane with RV mechanics, they all say that a propane regulator should last 15 years. Well, these don't last more than a year, if even that long. I've wasted my money on three of these pieces of garbage because they were cheap and this is what my travel trailer had on it originally. The last time, I was staying throughout the winter and this thing failed again. I had to go to an expensive RV store to buy one because these had temporarily surged in price and I couldn't wait for shipping anyway. What I bought from the RV store was a Mr. Heater brand vertical two-stage regular for about $40. It has lasted 3 years and I haven't had a problem since I installed it. Before, I was always having issues keeping the water heater going even when I had gas (some) at the stove... With the Mr. Heater reg, I have had no problems at all with the furnace, stove, or water heater. Buying one of these Camco regulators is sure to get you stuck with no usable propane when you need it most.

Lasted one year!
I purchased this regulator to replace a factory regulator that failed on a 2015 Forest River Rockwood Freedom pop-up camper. I was very disappointed only getting two years out of the original factory equipment, so to have a supposedly better quality only last one year is very disappointing. On this Camco regulator the reviews were favorable and I took a chance. I also new it did not come with a cover so I made a shield to keep moisture and dirt from the vent.I have had a Palomino pop-up camper for over ten years and a Jayco pop-up camper also for over 10 years and never had to replace a regulator. My guess is this item and the 2015 camper's regulator are made in China and not the same quality as brands furnished in the past. I have bought a new made in USA regulator to replace this Camco. I expect better service but just in case, I also bought a back up like item to have on hand rather than chance having a regulator fail again in the back country when you count on heaters, refrigerators and stoves.

Works for Coleman popups, Adjustable
Review update, Match 2015 - Turns out the new regulator i received was not set at 11 W.C. I had to purchase a manometer to test it. I had a very hard time finding the info on how to adjust the pressure, especially when another review by a popular poster here said it was not adjustable. To adjust the Camco two stage regulator, you unscrew the blue cap, and turn the thin outer washer right to raise the pressure. The spring in there will also compress. I used needle nose pliers in the open position as a tool to turn the washer. My camper fridge works great now.Original review, August 2014 - Bought this for my 2011 Coleman Sun Valley popup camper because my Dometic 2193 fridge stopped working on propane but worked fine on 110 or 12V, even after cleaning out the burner assembly. At first I thought I had bought the wrong regulator because the stock one has a 90 degree bend on the outlet, but after looking at the old regulator, the bend screws off and can go on the new one. I couldn't quite get the bend to point the right way until i mounted it back on the camper and could gain enough leverage with an adjustable wrench to fully tighten it and get it lined up to the stock LP line. As far as I can tell, no leaks and I expect the fridge will work like a champ again. I probably should use some soapy water to look for bubbles around the regulator just to be sure though. Its on my to-do list.

Poor quality control.
If I could give this regulator zero stars, I would. I ordered one to replace an older one on my motorhome. It worked great for a month then completed stopped working. I bought a second one and it worked for about 30 minutes. I also tested them on another propane tank (thinking maybe something else was wrong with my RV). No gas would flow through them on the other tank either. I have now replaced it with a different brand and everything is working perfectly. I won't be buying anymore Camco products.

Failed
Replaced old dual regulator with this one on my houseboat. Worked ok for a season, after winter would not work again. Replaced with the old 30 year old one with one side plugged, all works fine. This is junk.

well built product that is easy to install
Solid, well built product that is easy to install.Last year, the regular on my 91 Jayco blew leaving me to scramble for a replacement. I came across this piece and needless to say, I'm quite glad I picked it up.It was straightforward to install and didn't require any instruction. For my application, the holes did not line up with the existing mounting bracket but I was able to reuse the two top ones to secure it in place. I would have liked to see a mounting plate/bracket included however it wasn't a deal breaker (nor was there any indication that it was included).Pros:-Easy to install-Works wellCons:-No mounting bracket (I did not remove a mark for this as it was not supposed to be included)Overall this is a great product and a cheap replacement option!

works great , so far so good
product arrived fast , works as described . i had a dual port auto chang-over . but i always used the second tank for the BBQ and the first for the RV . Even with a new 2 port auto changeover it still leaked propane when i would disconnect the second tank to attache it to the BBQ. with this i dont need to attach or detach anything . works great so far . would recommend .

Super Easy to install
This regulator is a bit larger than the original one on my trailer, but works awesome. The old one was leaking so I ordered it right away from Amazon. Great price and fast shipping. The old one was a PITA to disconnect as the factory used pipe dope ( which I despise ) on the threads. Anyway, after a bit of a struggle, lol, I got it apart and used Teflon tape, which is far easier to dismantle if need be. Everything is great now!
