Jessa is one of the worst book characters ever
I am not much of a reviewer, but I find I just couldn't let this go without saying something. I hate Jessa. Like really hate her. I found myself skimming through the book just to get to the end to see if there was any redemption at all. I have never in all my life seen a grown person so manipulative, weak, weird, selfish in all my life. Brody deserved soooooo much better. Ugh I loved Dirty like Me, but this mess. I gave it 4 stars because it was written well but it dragged on too much and too much attention and excuses were given to Jessa. Did I say I hate her cause I really really do

Exquisitely Heart Wrenching & Poignant…
I have fully and completely fallen in love with this series! And here with, “Dirty Like Brody”, the second full-length story within author Jaine Diamond’s “Dirty” series, she pens a tale that is as hauntingly beautiful and delicate as it is erotic. Here we finally get to Jessa’s tale, the little sister we grew to love throughout book one of the series. A young woman we learn right from the start has closely held demons. A woman running from those she loves in order to either protect them, herself, or both. We also get to see how Brody, Dirty’s fiercely intrepid and loyal manager fits into to her world after getting hints through Jessie and Katie’s story that there was far more to Brody and Jessa than anyone could possibly begin to know or understand. What follows is another literary triumph by Diamond. One in which she once again gives us a story so intense in its emotional highs and lows it will leave you panting and set your heart on fire. Here you will finally witness why Jessa has run for so long despite the obvious full and all-encompassing love she has for Brody. You will see how lies, half-truths, and unfortunate secrets lead Brody to grow to hate the only woman he’s ever truly loved. And through them both you will see first-hand how a decade’s worth of unfortunate (and often unintentional) events lead these two away from themselves and each other creating a crushing void of despair and loneliness that almost swallows them both whole. And it is all-consuming in it trauma and heartache!Where Jessie and Katie’s story was dreamy, heartfelt and emotionally consuming, Jessa and Brody’s tale is something far deeper, more soul shattering. A soul piercing tale about fear so overwhelming you run, run far and long, so long in fact that you lose your way and forget how to come home again.Jessa’s inner turmoil, deep seated pain, and self-torture will bind itself to your heart.Brody’s despair, uncontrollable pain and anger will blind you with its intensity. The journey their story will take you on will keep you riveted from the very first word to the very last.I could not put this one down, and still have a lump in my throat and tears threatening behind my eyes at the many revelations contained within! And as if Jessa and Brody’s journey alone wasn’t enough to keep you glued to each and every page, the continued placement of story world hints and plot revelations throughout will have you begging for mercy and scrambling to start the very next installment as soon as you read the last word of this one. It. Is. Simply. That. Good! This series continues to get better and better and has become my greatest literary addiction this year!

Not as good as the first book
So I'm giving it 3 stars because the story it self is good, the characters are well written. My problem is that the author created this huge build up, this horrible secret that explains why Jessa ran and the answer to that was on 82% mark of the book. By that time I got so upset about how juvenile both Brody and Jessa were behaving and talking to one another- this are ppl in there late 20/early 30 and the dialogs were high school at best. I was so antsy to get to the point all ready.. I mean how many times can the characters repeat the same everything..All in all this book could have been half as long and it would have been better

Very good series!!
The media could not be loaded. Â I had started the third book to this eight part series day before yesterday. I've ordered all eight books. And two more from the same author in a different series of hers.So far, I really love this book!! It is comforting to have the same characters referenced from the last two books. The two main characters in the first book, Katie and Jesse, are in this book as well. But now the focus is on two new main characters and their storyline, Brody and Jessa (Jesse's sister). Also Zane and Maggie are referenced in this book (the two main characters from the 2nd book). I love the romance, the drama, the secret marriage and relationships, the emotion. I highly recommend this series.

The Most UNDERRATED Rock Star Series That Deserves More Love
Dirty Like Me popped up in my Facebook feed a few days ago and I just do not want this series to end. In Dirty like Brody we get Jessa and Brody's story..Jessa the little sister of one of the biggest Rock guitarist in the world, and Brody the bands producer and promotion manager . This friends to lovers ..second chance romance has been added to my top five faves of second chance romances..from the very first moment they met ..Jessa was eight being bullied on a playground and Brody the bad boy 13 year old who protected her . They had a beautiful history much like Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren the push and pull , the angst and Jessa running away to stand on her own. This book was full of learning about self , growing and evolving learning who they were in the world. They grew in communication with each other and learning about trust; how we allow people in to see all the good the bad and the ugly. This book gave more insight in the creative process of a band and the studio time creating an album. Jessa coming back to her roots and writing is huge. I hope in later books we see her getting on stage more . Brody and Jessa have amazing chemistry and Jaine's Dirty series is by far my second fave Rock n Roll series of all time.

Loved Brody + Jessa
Although Jessa and Brody frustrated me with their lack of ability to communicate with each other, I still loved them.SPOILER-Childhood love into full blown HEA, I wasn't sure how it would work out since they were both so hung up on each other but did nothing but argue, omg, just get together already, you can't live without each other! Anyhow, great story with some funny moments but serious topics like drůg ãddictìøn and dêpprêssion, and a 2.5 out of 5 on the spice🌶 scale. This is a nice follow up to Jesse and Katie's love story.

Did not disappoint!
Fantastic continuation of the Dirty series. I had no clue I'd be so into stories about rock bands and the romance between members, but I SO AM! The story of Brody and Jessa is tumultuous and hot 🔥. Loved it!

Another book I struggled to put down
Honestly I don't think I've read this much in a long time. This book was amazing! Loved the characters and liked how it sort of followed on from the first book but following Jessa and Brodys journey. However, the lack of communication between the two of them annoyed me. But overall a good read 📚 👌
