Great blades for cutting Sheetrock and for cleaning flexible caulk off of vinyl siding
I use these blades in an Olfa rotating lock handle. Sheetrock and flexible caulk are best cut with a sawing motion. I have used serrated blades in regular utility knives to cut 5/8" Sheetrock for years. I am pleased that these blades do as well and even better because worn edges can be broken off and sharp edges slid into place without disassembling the knife handle. Just this week I removed 2 outside wall lanterns that were sealed to vinyl siding with caulk without damaging the siding. The blade can be extended a couple inches and pressed flat to the siding leaving only a thin layer of caulk on the siding to be scraped away with a plastic putty knife. These don 't cut ceiling tiles as cleanly as straight blades so I carry 2 knives in my tools travel kit.
