oversized
Yes, a 13.3 inch MacBook Air will fit in it, so the product description is technically true. But it is at least 1.5" wider and 1" taller than the laptop. If you are looking for a snug fit, this isn't it. Otherwise, it seems well-built.

Very good product
This case has served me very well! I had my last one for about 5 years and it held up well to daily use and lots of travel. Protected my laptop perfectly without being bulky. I only got rid of it because it doesn't wash very well. Just bought it in blue and the color is nice, exactly as pictured.

Fits perfect inside the case logic latop carry case
When i first got the case logic latop 17 carry case, my msi GE 76 gaming laptop did not fit snug in it. Now with this 17.3 case logic sleeve inside that case I now have a perfect fit with double the protection!!!

It's very good. It serves its purpose well
It is important to know that this is a very basic Laptop Sleeve. There are no inner or out pockets. It's a sleeve for a laptop without any extra stuff. Barebones. It's very good. It serves its purpose well. The padding is a smidge over 1/4 of an inch. Plenty of padding unless you like to throw your bag on the ground in a rush. This is not for you. You will probably need a metal case. =DOn a serious note, this case logic laptop sleeve is really high quality for a product that is only $13-14. The value is pretty incredible.I've read some people complain about the new smell. It may depend on how recently your laptop sleeve was made. The one I just received today does have the new smell (as it should!), but only if I put my nose up to it, like 1-inch away then I can smell the "new smell." I have it sitting on my desk right now about a foot away and I can't smell it at all. The smell doesn't rub on to your hands/skin either.Okay, the question that seems to be lingering on most people's minds is the size and fit. I have an Asus Ultrabook SC500A with a screen-size of 15.6-inches. Mind you, screen-size DOES NOT EQUAL laptop's overall size. I think this is the problem with most of the buyers making these complaints. Measure your laptop first and then check with the manufacturers listing. In most cases, always go a full inch larger with cases. With my Asus Ultrabook 15.6" screen laptop, it barely fits. It's a snug-fit but by no means do I have to force it in there. The zipper isn't grazing my laptop or anything. That was my major concern!Other things I should mention is the color. It's black. It isn't a funky, faded black color that comes off brown. I think that is pretty important to know. There are some cheap dyes being used out there. It's pure black and it looks good.Even the zipper handle has this covering on it so that it doesn't hurt your hand when you pull it. I thought that was a nice touch and it adds even more quality to the overall product.Overall, I'm extremely pleased. For this price, it's highway robbery. I'd like to thank Case Logic for providing products that have fair pricing, and many times great value. I know there are a lot of poor, hungry college students out there and most of them have laptops that need a good case that isn't going to crush your wallet. (I meant no offense by that comment, I am a college student!)I hope that my review helped you guys. I try to write very informative and descriptive reviews. As should everyone. It makes life easier.Happy Holidays!

Perfect size for my 17.3" HP laptop
The 17-17.3" sleeve was the perfect size for my 17.3" screen HP laptop. My laptop slid right into the sleeve with more than enough room to zip it. I wish it had a pocket for the cord, but there may be room in the sleeve (even though I may not pack it together). I bought this sleeve so I could put my laptop in my tote bag because I haven't taken it any significant distance before. I haven't traveled with it yet, but I expect/suspect everything will be fine.

Good case for storage of laptop
Overall this is a good case for temporary storage and transport of your laptop. I place my laptop within after use at night or if I am carrying it to another location or transporting in my car. It does have a bit too much room so I kept the foam pad that came with it for extra padding and just place my laptop inside. Since my HP Envy laptop 17.3" is probably one of the more thin laptops out there the extra room within the neoprene case was too much. The laptop was basically swimming within, so the foam packaging pad that came with it takes up the extra room. Overall good case, nice appearance and design with a good zipper. This would not protect the laptop from a fall or drop but it is great for a cover and adds moderate protection, probably good enough for a light rain or any spills. For me it also doubles as a lap pad for which I set the laptop on top of when working. Caselogic makes pretty good products and I own several of their camera cases and computer accessory cases. If you are looking around at different manufactures, Lowepro and Tamrac are also excellent products however mostly camera related.

As good as they come
This sleeve has served me very well over the course of many a travel, and I wouldn't hesitate buying it again.

It’s just a 16” case. Not 15-16”
I have a 15.6” laptop and it was notably loose inside this case. I don’t know why this is advertised for laptops as small as 15”, it’s not stretchy or adaptive or anything. Sure, you can place anything smaller than 16” in it, but that doesn’t mean it’ll do a whole lot for it. My laptop did not feel protected at all in this thing.

IT IS A SOLID SLEEVE...
Purchased it for my brand new DELL INSPIRON 17 (3737). It is a 17.3 inch machine.I’ve looked online for a suitable sleeve for quite a bit. Most of the available products claiming to fit laptops “up to 17.3/17.4” are just...too big. Initially I wanted to buy the Belkin one...[http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-Neoprene-Sleeve-Upto-Laptops/dp/B000XHTE20/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top]...but after reading all the reviews and checking the measurements, I’ve decided it would be way too large for my (relatively) thin Inspiron. That’s what you people have to check before you go ahead and buy a sleeve that, yes, maybe looks great, but won’t suit the purpose of protecting your laptop. By “protecting”, I mean a snug fit. That’s what it should be. It should be tightly wrapping your machine from all sides. In case of the Inspiron 17 (3737), this particular sleeve is perfect length-wise...but a bit too big width-wise. So, there is maybe one, one and a half inches of room inside between the zipper and the machine. Not a big problem, mind you. The laptop isn’t loose but there is definitely enough room for it to slide backwards and forwards. You have to remember that most laptops these days are quite slim. The slimmer it is, the looser it will be inside...most sleeves on the market really. I guess the market hasn’t quite caught up with the slimming technology yet :-)For the new Dell Inspiron line owners, this sleeve should suffice. Dell sells their own sleeve for Inspirons but it only comes in one color – tan (as it stands right now – April 2014). It’s an ugly shade of brown that most people wouldn’t go for. If you own an all-black Inspiron 17 (3737), a light brown sleeve seems a little bit out of place. The CaseLogic sleeve I’m reviewing here is a well made product. Neat, simple and modest look, good quality, thick enough foam protection, some additional padding around the edges - the usual. It is a sleeve and, as such, its purpose is to shield your laptop from scratches and dust; to keep it clean and protected while travelling or out of use. It is not a shock absorbing Kevlar bullet-proof case you can use while reporting on military operations in Afghanistan :-DThe bottom line is – it’s well made, it looks and feels nice, and it will offer a tighter fit for 17.3 machines than other sleeves I found on Amazon and elsewhere. If you need something more, I suggest you buy a messenger bag. But then again, it’d be a bag, not a sleeve...

Good product for a good price. Measurements...
I didn't give 4stars because "I like it" but I can't say that "I love it"! It doesn't mean that I don't think this is a good product, au contraire.I bought it for my Dell Inspiron 7537 just to protect it from dust and scratches, and I think it's fair to leave some figures (so difficult to find!) just to help some other buyer. My Dell 7537 is (37.8 x 25.4 x 2.2)cm: how does this sleeve fit? I would say that it fits perfectly my laptop in width (37.8cm), so If you have a 38.5/39cm laptop be prepared to "stretch" the zip a little bit but should still be ok: I wouldn't go more than 38.5cm anyway! As far as depth is concerned, there is definitely more space here (at least a couple of cm), so if you have a 27.5cm laptop it should do (with mine there are clearly 2+cm of internal space left). Same for height: it can accommodate a 3.5cm laptop easily, but I wouldn't put anything more than that.My old Asus M50Vn (a chunky 15.4-inch laptop) fits perfectly (37.4cmx26.5cmx3.5cm); for my 7537 this is not a perfect fit then...Internal measurements are (more or less):38cm x 27cm x 3cm (you can stretch a little bit though...)In the end this is more a functional sleeve than a "cool" or fashionable one. As already suggested, maybe a good internal protection in a larger carrying bag.Hope this can be helpful...

The quality is incomparable to chinese brands
I had one for my former 13.3 laptop and used it for many years, very satisfied. So I bought this one for another laptop, I was pleased to see that the quality is still the same, it is very thick and hopefully absorbs more shocks than Chinese thin cases.Strongly recommend

Good case
My son uses it to take his laptop to university in his backpack that's more or less jammed with books. The case provides good protection for the laptop: its interior is soft (and therefore protects against scratching) and the exterior quite solid (not 'unbendable' solid though - if you need that, this case is not for you) and the laptop seems to feel quite happy travelling inside it.

Simple product well made
I bought this item for my 11.6 inch chromebook knowing it would be oversized for it. In the end I was glad I went for a slightly larger case as it just gives that little extra room. You can tell that the product is well made and the foam inside offers protection to my device. For the price I say you can't go wrong. Overall happy and the postage was quick quick quick
