Does this come with a blade? If so, what type?

It doesn't use "blades" it uses grinding wheels, cut-off discs, flap discs, etc. and they are a consumable item. I assume you've never used a grinder. Also, this is a professional tool. Professional tools don't typically include consumables. If you want a cheap tool that includes a handful of cheap consumables in some gimmicky oversized blow-molded case, go down to your local hardware store. If you buy grinding wheels and zip discs in bulk and need a tool that'll run every day all day without burning up, this is the tool for you.

Are these made in germany? i know metabo also has a factory in china, which is why i am asking. i won't buy it if is now made in china.

This one is made in Germany. The ones made in China have no "red"on them and are completely green. Ypu will really enjoy this one. It's the toughest grinder available. It puts Dewalt and Milwaukee to shame.
