Small but fun
Load it with charcoal and let it heat up for 20-25mins then you can fit 5-6 small skewers and it'll be hot enough to char up and cook your food

Don't listen to the reviews about how it wont hold heat.
I bought this tiny grill to make yakitori indoors for myself, and my partner. First off, the grill is small and cute. It didn't come with instructions, but its pretty self explanatory. I got the Thaan charcoal, and as one reviewer pointed out, the charcoal in its form as packaged will not fit in the charcoal basket. Solution, I used a hammer and chisel to break the charcoal into multiple pieces. I don't know if this is how it was intended to be used, but it works just fine, and also cuts down on your lighting time.Next as far as it holding heat, if you use a long lasting charcoal like binchotan, or thaan, then you will not have any problem with this thing getting hot. The coals of these style charcoals have lasted in upwards of three hours after cooking in my experience. As for indoor use. I always get the coals going outside first. The lighting period will gas off more CO, and sparks, so I don't suggest lighting them inside. After they are hot and going though, using this grill inside posed no real threat to fire, and if those charcoals are used, there is no visible, or smell of smoke.I give this four stars because honestly, it is small, it could be better if it was literally an inch longer and wider. Don't expect to feed a family of four with this, but for novelty, and making Yakitori for yourself, or maybe one other person, this grill is a great deal, and I have no complaints.Again, I highly suggest the Thaan charcoal, and I have had great success with breaking it down, even though that's not its intended use. For something this small, its really the only way to go.

Nice but small
Fun to use but very small. I wish it was at least double the size. I would pay more for one that was longer.

When the reviews say it’s too small, believe them
I bought, and will not use. I’m returning because the size really is small. If you have to use the metal container to place the charcoal inside, you will fit maybe 5 pieces of charcoal. There’s no way 5 pieces will cook anything. I debated not using the metal container because then you can fit maybe 12 or more pieces but it’s still very very small. I’d rather return it unused then use it once and return it.

Couples night fun
Very fun for couples. If you're doing 3 or more you might want to get a second one or bigger one.

Great Tabletop Grill
Product arrived exactly as pictured on listing; came about 5 days earlier than shipping expected.Perfect little table top grill for the patio to cook for a few friends or an intimate and interactive deal for 2. Used it a handful of times for teriyaki chicken and beef bulgolgi and doesn’t get too too hot. Although overallheat will build up but the wooden base keeps it from being a problem. Love the grill and probably going to buy the skillet cast iron plate for it next.

Fun to use, but not the most practical.
Bought it for a in home date night. Used it, love it. Not the most practical thing, but it is fun to sit with my wife and cook on it for her. We've also used it to make smores with the kids. Wife love to leave it out and show it off.
