Is the back of the ship fragile with the gray extension pieces? I would like to purchase for my 4 year but concerned it would break easily.

My husband and four year old are building it right now. My 4 year old doesn't really play with these big ones so much. We build them and they are more decoration. Legos fall apart easily no matter what.
