Struggling to get this to trim my moustache are there any other attachments you can get? Seems like a design flaw.

I think you get what you get. If it isn't doing the job send it back....or..... I use a comb as a guide and take attachment off to trim difficult areas.

What are these like on the shortest setting with the cutting grade off for my stubble ?

Works great without the garde for stubble or with garde on shortest setting works fine too. Ive used a few trimmers over the years but this one has been great so far 👍
