I absolutely love this little speaker. I use it when sitting on my deck and I even used it on the beach.Great Sound from a little speaker!

I am changing my review of this product because of the absolutely amazing customer service of the company who sold this bluetooth speaker to me. They read my review, which was a one star due to the defective product and NOT the company or their service. StrongVolt customer service contacted me immediately after I wrote the review to replace the item free of charge. They did not wish to have unhappy customers, even though my issue was NEVER with the company or their service. I had not written to them or requested a new speaker because I had not been informed of the issue by my daughter until two months after the fact.... I felt it was not appropriate to do so. Even though it had been such a long time since I had purchased the speaker, they sent out a new one and it works perfect!The first speaker I received had a short in it somewhere and made a bit of a funky noise, the new one has never made the noise and has always held a charge. My daughter loves it. She keeps the speaker in her bedroom (upstairs at the end of the hall) and likes to show off that she can turn it on from the kitchen with her iphone.Honestly, I would give the speaker a 3 or 4 star rating from our first go around, but I have given 5 stars for fantastic customer service!(Previous review) Bought this as a birthday gift for my teenage daughter... I have a different speaker system for my iphone 4 but her i5 would not work on mine because it has a different size port... (I think that is what you call the place where you plug in the charging cord on the bottom of the phone...). This speaker looked like something a teenager would like: it has a blue light that turns on when the speaker pops up, bluetooth wireless connection and it looks cool.... well it looks good BUT doesn't work. I found out that it has never held a charge when she plugged it into a wall charger, she had to leave it plugged in to use it. So we tried charging it by plugging it into my computer. Still will not hold a charge. Extremely disappointed with this product. Would not recommend to anyone.

This little speaker surprised me. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. It arrived fast, the speaker packaging was easy to get into and it fit in the palm of my hand. I hadn't expected it to come charged but, it was fully charged and ready to go right out of the box. I didn't even look at the instructions. The switch on the side was easy enough to understand. Bluetooth for one side and wired for the other. The wire is actually stored under the speaker and tucked out of the way. Haven't had a problem with it coming undone and I've carried the speaker around the house with me (in and out of a pocket with no problems).It was intuitive. You press the top and the speaker comes right up. The flashing colors were easily recognizable as being a device that needed to be paired so I grabbed my phone. Sure enough, it was located in about 5 seconds and paired with my phone. Yes, it was really that easy. Next thing I did was load up a song and music was playing in under a minute. The speaker area glows just enough to say 'yeah, I'm here and paying attention', without being overwhelming.If I had a complaint, it would be that there is no volume control on the speaker. There is no way to lower or raise the volume without the device that you paired it with (in my case, my phone). So, everytime I needed to mess with the volume it was a little bit of a hassle to find my phone and then go to where the song was playing and then lower the volume. That is just me though, some people might like that the volume is controlled electronically instead of having to go and find the speaker in the room to physically lower or raise the sound level. Just be aware that this is the case.If you are wondering if this is a good deal. The answer is without a doubt. Yes. My husband thought so to. When he got home from work and saw the speaker it was the last I saw of it. I had to order another one for myself as he had claimed the first one.

These are great small speakers for some reason the black one sounds better than the white speaker

Very small and handy to use with a smart phone.Sound is very reasonable with good volume.It is what it is, good value.

Not as good as I thought it would be the sound quality just wasn't there I would have gladly paid more for a better one if I new the quality of this one before hand
