The accessories that are attached to the sheath can be taken off. This leaves a configurable option for just about any carry configuration. The sheath gives a very secure snap when inserting the knife. I took the snap strap off. It’s just not needed. A clip is included that should allow for scout carry. With the accessories taken off, the knife and the sheath will slip into your front or back pocket. I carry mine with me always in my, believe it or not, front jeans pocket. It’s slim and solid and made well. You won’t regret purchasing it. I’ve had gerbers that aren’t nearly as well made. The striker is so vivid that you could use it as a small flare.

Why did my knife arrive without the striker, paracord and the adjustment tool?

You would have been better off if your knife would have arrived without the knife.
