The problem with these kinds of things is that you don't know if they are REALLY is working. But in this case I can be pretty sure it IS. I use it for my credit/debit cards of course. But, I also use it for my retail gift cards. I put my cards in my phone case and the magnetic closure on it always deactivated my gift cards. But if I keep the gift cards in this sleeve, voila' ! No more deactivated cards! There are 2 negatives for me - the cards are a very tight fit and hard to get in and out of the sleeve. I actually cut a small opening at the top so I can grip the card. Also, you may not be able to put your cards in the sleeve and then put them in the slots made for cards in a billfold, depending on the billfold of course.
